Bikini is Not For Indian Women, says Deepika Padukone

Actress Deepika Padukone would be seen flaunting a bikini in her forthcoming film Cocktail, but the actress feels that Indian body type is not naturally suited for the costume. “I wish it was so easy and natural. I think the Indian body type is somehow not suited for a bikini. We as related stories Chaos at Saif-Deepika starrer Cocktail event Indians have to work a little extra hard if we wish to carry it off,” the 26-year-old said here Thursday while unveiling the Melange Cocktail fashion collection.

Well, the actress feels that the Indians need to work hard on their bodies to get the perfection in their shape like the western people to wear bikinis. Deepika recently said at the unveiling of the Mélange Cocktail fashion collection in Mumbai, “I wish wearing a bikini was so easy. I think the Indian body type is somehow not suited for a bikini.”

The actress who will be seen wearing a bikini in her upcoming movie Cocktail said, “I feel we as Indians need to work a little extra on our body if we want to carry it off well.”Deepika will be seen playing the character of Veronica in the movie. The movie also features Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty.
