Saroj Khan Speaks On The Dance Of Madhuri, Sonam & Mallika

Dance is an important element of Hindi cinema. Some actors have rhythm in their step while others have to work really hard to get it right.

Choreographer Saroj Khan has been making actors dance to her tune for the last 50 years, and has choreographed the best and worst dancers of the industry. For instance, she says Madhuri Dixit is one of the best dancers she has worked with while Sonam Kapoor is one of the worst!

In this interview with Patcy N, Khan  rates the top actors and actresses, and reveals their dance secrets.

I don’t think there is any dance in (Mallika’s item number in Double Dhamaal) Jalebi Bai. The poor thing is just shaking her waist in circular movements! After that, she’s running from one corner to another. There’s no dance. Source
