Ranbir Brings Shammi Kapoor Back In Rockstar

In the film ROCKSTAR, the Kapoor scion, Ranbir would be seen enacting his late grand uncle Shammi Kapoor. There is a sequence where Ranbir is seen doing Shammi Kapoor’s role in KASHMIR KI KALI. The way Shammi, going totally fida over Kashmiri Kali Sharmila Tagore, serenaded Bollywood style ‘Chand Sa Roshan Chehra’ and cavorted around in a shikara. Likewise Ranbir would be seen flinging himself about on a boat and wooing his leading lady Nargis Fakhri.

Besides, Ranbir Kapoor’s much touted film is dedicated to his late grand uncle Shammi Kapoor. In fact it is being held that Shammiji and Ranbir feature in a jugalbandi sequence where the veteran plays a shehnai while the latter plays a guitar.
