Akshay Kumar & Prabhu Deva – Something’s Cooking !

Following the grand success of Wanted, Prabhu Deva has become one of the most wanted filmmakers  in B-town. The South Indian choreographer-actor turned filmmaker will now direct Akshay Kumar for an untitled film to be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. We have heard this straight from the shoulders of Prabhu, who is busy now choreographing a dance for Santhosh Sivan’s multilingual film Urumi.

Prabhu Deva has mentioned that Sanjay Leela Bhansali flew down to Chennai for discussing the script and I am really privileged to work with such an eminent filmmaker. Prabhu Deva also makes it clear that it will be a fresh script and not a remake like his previous film Wanted.

With Akshay Kumar donning the lead character, the heroine is yet to be confirmed. Well known costume designer Sabina Khan is co-producing the film and the technical crew will be finalized shortly.

As of now, Prabhu Deva is busy working on final schedule of Jeyam Ravi-Hansika Motwani starrer Engeyum Kadhal. This film is produced by AGS Enterprises with Harris Jayaraj scoring music and Nirav Shah as the cameraman. He will be directing Vishal’s next film that will be produced by the actor’s home banner GK Films Corporation. Source
