Shahrukh’s Fans & Well Wishers Pour Their Heart Out

Shah Rukh Khan’s fans and friends were all aflutter on Twitter after the shock detention of the Bollywood superstar in the US. Among the first to react was director Karan JOhar (@kjohar25), who is currently shooting My Name is Khan with SRK. “Shocked and upset…feeling terrible for shah rukh….,” said the tweet.

Music director Vishal Dadlani (@V1SH4L) could barely contain his rage: “This is plain silly!! I mean, a quick internet search would tell them what they need to know about SRK!! Paranoia breeds stupidity, I guess!”

Shah Rukh’s co-star in Don Priyanka Chopra (@priyankachopra) said the news was “Shocking,disturbing n downright disgraceful.Its such behavior that fuels hatred n racism.SRK’s a world figure for Gods sake.GET REAL!!”

Journalist Vir Sanghvi’s (@virsanghvi) series of tweets on the detention included: ” What’s the point electing a President called Hussein if your officers think that Khan is a terrorist name? Look what happened to Shah Rukh….The real secret of the war on terror is that it is run by morons. No wonder Bin Laden is sitting pretty while the likes of SRK are hassled”
