Rakhi Sawant’s Svayamvara – The Traditional Marriage

The bollywood bindaas babe Rakhi Sawant, who has always loved to live her life in the public eye, will take that one step further on NDTV Imagine’s new reality TV show Rakhi Ka Swayamvara. She will be choosing her husband over the series from a list of fifteen hopefuls and she will then marry him live on air. “I want to solemnize my marriage in the presence of all my fans who have been supportive of me throughout and what better way than getting married on national television?” she asks, “I am looking for a companion who is warm, affectionate, someone who can dance a little bit, who respects women for who they are, and above all who is punctual. Even Sita had her Swayamvara, so why not me?”

The ultimate naatch girl is currently enjoying a bit of a boost in her career with a successful chat show last year and a role in the new Rani Mukherjee / Shahid Kapur cricketing movie, provisionally called Hadippa – which also features the outrageous Sherlyn Chopra. Source
