Sonam Kapoor To Play The Role Of ‘Emma’ Of A Classic Novel

Sonam Kapoor- the latest feather in the Kapoor crown now will join the league of Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Beckinsale to essay the role of ‘Emma’. Papa, Anil Kapoor, has decided to adapt the classic 1815 novel by Jane Austen on silver screen. Abhay Deol and debutant Arunoday Singh will also feature in this adaptation with Sonam Kapoor and will be directed by Rajshri Ojha.

The novel was earlier adapted by Hollywood filmmakers like Douglas McGrath (featured Gwyneth Paltrow) and Diarmuid Lawrence (featured Kate Beckinsale). Now lets see how Bollywood adapts this classic novel. Source
