Rani Mukherji plays the lead in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic just for a name now because, it is Amisha Patel, who plays the second lead in the film, who has taken away all the kudos from producer Aditya Chopra. And this even before the release of the film.

According to our source, she has managed to impress Adi so much that he has offered her two more films under the YRF banner. And no, this new development has not gone down too well with Adi’s favourite heroine, Rani.
Apparently Amisha will star in the film to be directed by Shaad Ali, for which Ranbir Kapoor has already been signed on in the lead role.
 
Our source says, “A trial of the film was held a couple of days ago and Aditya Chopra professed great satisfaction with Amisha’s performance - although Amisha does not play the lead role. The lead role of the film is played by Rani Mukherji. Adi was so impressed by Amisha’s performance that he complimented her heartily and told her that she would also be part of two more Yash Raj films. Naturally, Amisha is elated. More

Now we all know that sequels have become common in Bollywood. Also we know is that Ram Gopal Varma is famous to do the uncommon things. So did you get any hint what we are talking about? At the moment, no one knows the answer to this, perhaps not even Ramgopal Varma. But the way Sarkar Raj finishes a sequel seems a distinct and perhaps inevitable possibility. Kay Kay Menon’s character had a son (Chikoo) who does not appear in Sarkar Raj. However at the end of the movie Amitabh does ask his wife to call Chikoo back immediately. That might be where the next Sarkar begins and the way Abhishek sees it, Hrithik would be an exciting choice. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were the latest celebrity contestants invited on Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain, that was aired on 14th of this month. We are not sure if the presence of Bollywood’s hottest couple helped double the ratings of the show, but one thing is for sure, the audience watching the show on the sets at Film City, did not had a great time at all.

Much to the dismay of the studio audience, host Shah Rukh Khan ordered all the four LCD screens fitted around the sets to be switched off for this particular episode. Why? Because of Kareena Kapoor. “Ever since the shoot began, Kareena constantly kept looking at the LCD screen to see how she was looking. Shah Rukh observed this and told her that she was looking great, and need not look at the LCD screen every now and then.”Says an eyewitness.

It seems that Kareena was in no mood to listen to SRK. She could not refrain from looking at herself on the screen. “Consciously or unconsciously, she continued checking herself out on all the four screens.

Time was running out and so SRK ordered that the screens be switched off. Only then did they start the shoot,” adds the eyewitness.

And what did Kareena do after that? The insider says, “Well, Kareena had no choice. She had to go ahead with the proceedings. Thankfully, everything went off smoothly after that.” Source

The Bollywood hunk John Abraham’s legal battle over the ownership of an entire floor in a building in Mumbai has come to the fore with a glass company claiming before the Bombay High Court that it bought the property before him.

According to John Abraham he had purchased the 4,500 sq ft premises covering the entire fourth floor of new Prabhadevi’s Orbit Plaza in 2006 for Rs 11.5 crore. However, a Parekh Glass Company (PGC) has claimed that it bought the property prior to the Bollywood star and dragged him and Orbit Finance, the owner, to court.

An order by a judge of the court in March this year allowed Abraham to give out the premises on leave and licence on the condition that no permanent third party rights are created.

For the latest news she has bagged the film Fashion which is directed by National Award winner director Madhur Bhandarkar. Bulk of the shooting of the film is said to be completed but there has been a change of plans regarding the climax of Fashion. Earlier the director had planned to shoot the Paris Fashion Week live in July. But now he’ll be recreating the Fashion Week in Paris during the season of he event.

It would be 4-5 days of shooting. We want to capture Priyanka framed against the Eiffel Tower and also show her walking the ramp in Paris as a super-model. The family of Late Pakistani leader Benazir Bhutto has said that it would not give any help to an Indian production house planning to produce a film on her but acknowledged that it cannot stop anyone from producing a movie. In the backdrop of reports that a Mumbai-based production house was producing the film in which Aishwarya Rai may play Benazir’s role, a lawyer for her husband Asif Ali Zardari said today that the family would not provide any help for the project.

The lawyer, Ashish Mehta, said that a documentary on the life of Benazir who was assassinated in Rawalpindi in December last year was currently being made by a US production house. “As far as we are concerned, this is the only official documentary that we are currently assisting in production,” Babar told reporters. “We cannot, however, stop anyone from going ahead and making a film, but this will definitely not receive any support from us,” he said.

Babar also said that two other international production houses had approached the family with similar proposals, but they too had been rejected.

If reports are to be believed Indian filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt had also announced a film Benazir and had approached the family in January this year.

“After we objected to the film, he was cooperative and said he wouldn’t make the movie until he gets the consent of the family,” said Mehta. Source

The winner of Big Brother Shilpa Shetty’s stars perhaps are not at the perfect place.
Shilpa Shetty was seen on a wheelchair at the airport when she arrived back home from her recent visit to Dubai.

Things began going wrong for the actress after she shot a song for Sunny Deol’s The Man in which she was repeatedly drenched in artificial rain. While the song was shot completely, Shilpa ended up with fever and chest congestion.

To make matters worse, Shilpa was bitten by a dog of her friend whom she was visiting in Tirupati. Poor Shilpa, who was already on antibiotics, now had to take extra medicine.

Shilpa flew to Dubai to celebrate her birthday last Saturday but her luggage got lost in the transit. The same day, before a special party to usher her birthday, Shilpa fell ill again and the party had to be cancelled. And all the medicine she took had its side effects and led to a burning sensation in her food pipe and stomach. The actress eventually got so weak that when she came back from Dubai she had to be carried in a wheelchair to her car at the airport.
