Priyanka Chopra - The Super Model in ‘Fashion’

Priyanka Chopra has been the hot choice of every director since she made her debut with Andaaz. For the latest news she has bagged the film Fashion which is directed by National Award winner director Madhur Bhandarkar. Bulk of the shooting of the film is said to be completed but there has been a change of plans regarding the climax of Fashion. Earlier the director had planned to shoot the Paris Fashion Week live in July. But now he’ll be recreating the Fashion Week in Paris during the season of he event.

“We’re working out a deal with the French government. We’ll show Priyanka walking the ramp, of course. But we won’t shoot the Fashion Week. We’ll put up a set in Paris. It would be 4-5 days of shooting. We want to capture Priyanka framed against the Eiffel Tower and also show her walking the ramp in Paris as a super-model. And we’ll also have a bit of footage from the real Fashion Week.” marked the director, Madhur Bhandarkar. Madhur’s most glamorous and expensive film till date is said to be Fashion itself, obviously because of Rs. 20 crore involved in it. “Traffic Signal was made at a cost of Rs 4 crores. Chandni Bar was made for 1.5 crores. Fashion is a big financial leap.

Because of the kind of appeal that the film has, we needed a big star. Priyanka Chopra is a glamorous star.Fashion couldn’t have been made without her.And now I’m looking forward to finishing with the film with her in Paris.” For his past films Madhur has been turned down by Karisma Kapoor(Satta), Kareena Kapoor(Page 3), Aishwarya Rai (Corporate).

Madhur sighs, “It’s taken me a long time to get here. Earlier the anthem for Bollywood was Jeena yahan marna yahan from Mera Naam Joker. Now it’s Kitne ajeeb rishte hain yahan par from my film Page 3.” Well we wish for Madhur and Priyanka that their relationship grows better and better.
