On the success of Dhamaka, Kartik Aaryan comments, "Love is larger than numbers."
Kartik Aaryan has been extremely busy with shoots and engagements throughout the year. He just had a huge success with his picture Dhamaka, which received a lot of love and admiration from both spectators and critics. The actor has now spoken up about his views about the movie and how people have reacted to it.

"The response is so strong that I am just shocked," Kartik Aaryan said. I recently flew and the flight crew complimented me on my performance. I'm overjoyed to hear how people have reacted to the film and my performance. It's been said that this is Kartik 2.0. I'm happy and overwhelmed at the same time. It was an intentional decision to go in a new direction. The premise blew me away the day I conducted my first script reading. Dhamaka was a film where I felt compelled to give it my all. I was aware of the fact that I was doing something unusual."

"I felt people would like watching me in this new persona," he continued. They've never seen me in such a state. I thought it would be fascinating for them to see me like this, as well as for me to portray such a character. It was scary to go out of my comfort zone, but I knew I was in good hands. Dhamaka's acclaim has truly affirmed me as a performer. I'm relieved that people embraced me in the part of Arjun Pathak."

"Expectations keep you motivated, but they're also an added obligation for any actor," he said. For me, it's a dream come true. I'm at a great place right now, where I'm getting roles I've never played before. I enjoy the process of filmmaking and never feel rushed. I want to carve out my own niche and have people talk about my work. I've long wondered how one can measure achievement in the absence of numbers. Dhamaka taught me that audience affection is more important than numbers. By far, the kind of feedback I'm getting today is my greatest achievement. I'm thrilled with the feedback and how the crowd is responding to my performance."

Captain India, Freddy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Shehzada, and Sajid Nadiadwala's untitled next are among Kartik's upcoming flicks.
