“Rakhi had mentioned in one of her interviews that she has got a better TRP than Hrithik which is absolutely false. The numbers speak for themselves. A 24-year-old man from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh who appeared on a reality show featuring Rakhi Sawant was so upset by the reportedly ‘indecent remarks’ made against him by the Bollywood item girl that he stopped eating and died, his family alleged Thursday.

Laksham Prasad, a resident of Jhansi’s Prem Nagar town, was upset after Rakhi termed him ‘impotent’ on her reality show ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’. He died on Wednesday, his family alleged Thursday.

According to Prasad’s mother Savitri Ahirwal, Sawant had termed her son ‘impotent’ while trying to settle the dispute between him and his wife on the reality show.

‘My son was so upset with the indecent remarks that he stopped meeting any outsiders or neighbours, who used to laugh at him referring to the remarks by Rakhi Sawant…They (neighbours) had seen the show and how that girl (Sawant) referred to my son as ‘namard and napunsak’ (impotent),” Ahirwal told reporters Thursday, a day after Prasad died.

‘Upset over the remarks, my son went into acute depression and even stopped eating food… He gradually became weak and frail and ultimately died yesterday… No one other than Rakhi Sawant is responsible for the untimely death of my son,” she added. More

Drama queen Rakhi Sawant, who had her swayamwar on television but broke off her engagement, says she has no plans to get married soon because she is too busy with work.

‘I have not thought of getting married anytime soon. I have been doing a lot of shows. And now I am doing my own Rakhi Ka Insaaf. So I am very busy with my work,’ Rakhi said.

In her new show on NDTV Imagine starting on October 16, the 31-year-old will be talking to families in a bid to resolve their problems related to dowry, extramarital affairs, divorce and property disputes.

‘Whatever cases have come to us, we have thoroughly looked into them and collected evidence before taking them up. I don’t know about the law but I would be making judgment with my heart,’ she said.

The drama diva Rakhi Sawant is all set to participate in a dance reality show! Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant will contest against her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Avasthi in an upcoming celebrity dance reality show ‘Zara Nachke Dikha’, to be aired on STAR Plus soon.

‘I am a performer. Whoever comes and performs, be it Abhishek (Avasthi), Shah Rukh or Aamir Khan, I am going to fight equally. I don’t care for anyone. I am not scared of any one. The girls team will win for sure,’ Rakhi said at a recent press meet.

The programme would showcase a battle between sexes on the dance floor for over nine weeks. The selected female television artistes teamed up for the contest include Rakhi, Aditi Gupta, Hazel Crowney, Kritika Kamra, Mukti Mohan, Rashmi Desai, Sangeeta Ghosh, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Saparsh Kanchandani among others.

The item queen Rakhi Sawant and singer-composer-lyricist ishQ Bector, have gone ahead and taken legal action on the industry’s regulatory body, the Censor Board.

Recently, the Board passed a diktat that the word ‘kamine’ be deleted or bleeped out from the mukhda (opening verse) of ‘Bhoot’; Rakhi and ishQ’s latest video from their album titled ‘Jhagde’. Challenging the censors’ decision, the duo, who are also the producers of the album, have sent a show cause notice to the board.

“The censors clearly have double standards,” shoots Rakhi. “When they can pass an entire film called ‘Kaminey’, what sense does it make to delete the word ‘kamine’ from our video, and that too, without giving us any reason whatsoever,” she fumes. More

Rakhi Sawant was extremely excited after her engagement to NRI businessman Elesh Parunjwala. Rakhi says she wants all her friends, including ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi, to attend her wedding but will not invite her mother. “Please, all that nautanki on television for five minutes can`t take away the pain I`ve gone through. As far as I`m concerned that chapter of my life is closed,” she said.

“I was all set to marry Elesh on Sunday. But it was Elesh who said he wanted more time to get to know me. I`m very confident of him. But if he needs more time to get to know me, how can I force myself on him? I`m ready to wait as long as he wants,” said Rakhi.  But although she is willing to wait for Elesh to make up his mind about the wedding, she doesn`t want to shift base to Canada, where he runs a business.
