Bollywood diva Neha Dhupia fainted at the Pow (Prisoner of War) Camp in Vietnam. A friend of the actress said, “Neha travelled to Vietnam recently. It was a holiday trip. Neha had heard a lot about the POW Camp in Vietnam and was curious to know about it.”
Neha visited the camp and was shocked to know about the torture that the people had endured over there. “The truth was so bitter and harsh that Neha just could not digest it. She just fainted on hearing the people’s gruesome stories.
Neha was so disturbed by it that she just remained quiet throughout the day. Neha felt slightly better only the next day.” Source
The Julie of bollywood Neha Dhupia might not have scored a six among Bollywood fanatics but has successfully impressed American artists of mini-series ‘Bollywood Her’ with her professionalism.
‘Neha comes fully prepared on the sets. She doesn’t call for dialogues during the shot like other actors do. She goes through the details before and comes prepared for the shot. The American members of the film are very impressed with her and for her professionalism. She is very punctual too,’ a source from the unit said in a statement.
Apart from starring in the mini-series along with actor Chris Kattan, Neha is looking forward to her next movie titled ‘Paying Guest’, which also features Shreyas Talpade, Celina Jaitley, Sayali Bhagat and Riya Sen. Source
The Julie of bollywood Neha Dhupia says she is a die-hard cricket fan and doesn’t miss even one match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) these days.
“I have always been a big sports fan and have been to several cricket matches but IPL is so glamorous. This is the only occasion where we see our Indian players teaming up with various international cricket stars. There are film stars and cheerleaders and there is no stone left unturned to promote the game,” said Neha.
“When the matches are on, I am simply glued to the TV screen and in between if I get any call, I avoid them saying that I am busy in a meeting,” she added. Source
Bollywood babe Neha Dhupia, who has been lately associating herself with closer-to-life characters, will be essaying the role of a back row dancer in her forthcoming film ‘Pappu Can’t Dance Saala’. ‘Neha did a thorough research on back dancers before embarking on the role. She met and interacted with them on a close level because she wanted to know the kind of lifestyle they had,’ said a source close to the actress.
‘Neha coloured her hair red because she noticed that all those back dancers that she had met had that colour. She also observed that most back row dancers had a habit of chewing gums while waiting for the shot on the sets. So, she adopted that style for her character too,’ the source added.
In the film, Neha will be working opposite Vinay Pathak. Source
Q : Tell us something about the TV show that you will star in?
Neha Dhupia: Well its not exactly a TV show. It’s a mini series called Bollywood Hero. It revolves around the main protagonist Chris Kattan who wants to become a Bollywood hero and I play a Bollywood actress, opposite him.
Q : When many Bollywood actors are doing films abroad, why did you choose to start your western carrer in the TV industry?
Neha Dhupia: Well purely because TV is treated as big as a movie there and after I saw how TV is in India and abroad, I realised there is vast difference between the two. It’s going to be treated as big as a movie.
Q : Neha your image in Bollywood is of a bombshell, so will you be eye candy in this show as well?
Neha Dhupia: Well, yes. This bombshell image always work against me! I did three auditions for them and they were like if you won’t play a Bollywood actress, who would ? Source
Neha Dhupia hates celebrating Valentine’s Day just for the simple reason she thinks it is a complete waste of time and money. But those aren’t the only reasons the actress never warmed up to the ‘day of expressing one’s love’.
States the Ex Miss India turned actress, “I don’t understand why Valentine’s is celebrated on such a huge scale. It’s not a festival of spending loads of cash to buy gifts. It should be about spending time with your loved ones and that can happen at anytime and at anyplace. We don’t need to wait for this particular day.”
Recalling her not-so-special past Valentine’s Days at her school, Neha says, “I was in Army Public school in New Delhi. I was really fat and ugly and I used to be very embarrassed on Valentine’s Day as everyone in school would get chocolates accept for me. It was only later on that I decided to lose weight by exercising regularly. I’ve really hated Valentine’s day from that time. To me it’s just a normal day which I spend with my family and loved ones.” Source

Recently Neha Dhupia showed her action skills with a few stunts in Akshay Kumar-starrer “Singh Is Kinng”. Though she managed the action scenes in the film, Neha says she will never take part in a show like “Khatron Ke Khiladi”.
Neha said, “I wouldn’t have done ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ even if I was offered it because it won’t challenge me creatively. There is nothing creative about it. It would force me to do stunts and stuff; so I would not do it.”
As for her future projects, the young actress, who won the Miss India crown in 2002, is looking forward to a line-up of films including “Maharathi”, “Raat Gayi Baat Gayi”, “I Am 24″, “Paying Guest”, one Percept Picture Company-produced film with Emraan Hashmi and a yet-to-be-titled film with Priyadarshan. Bollywood diva Neha Dhupia drinks and drinks hard ? The shoot of Paritossh Painter’s debut flick Paying Guests was delayed because of Neha Dhupia with the official reason being ‘missed flight’. However, some sources say that it was due to excessive partying the night before.
According to a our sources, “Apart from having catfights with Celina in Bangkok, Neha was the hot topic of conversation because she failed to report for the shooting of the film. This irritated her co-stars who were kept waiting endlessly. Neha had taken a day off to fly to Dubai for a show. The unit was expecting her the following day and her scenes were planned along with the other cast members but she missed her flight after a night of partying.”
The source continues, “She didn’t turn up in Bangkok as committed, and she didn’t even inform the crew about the delay. They kept trying to reach her but they only managed to get through to her the next day and she said she couldn’t return on time because she had to stay back because she missed her flight.”
When Neha was challenged about this, she responded by saying, “I don’t drink. I don’t even know what alcohol tastes like. Unlike other actors, I don’t even do drugs. I did reach late because I missed my flight and there was some miscommunication between the airline and me.” Paying Guests is a woman orientated sex flick that also features Celina Jaitley, Ashish Choudhary and Riya Sen. They have made me very tough in movie,” says the actress.
