We all remember Malaika Arora’s blatant lies to the tabloid Mumbai Mirror where in order to create pre-event hype for a brand she was endorsing, she told senior Bollywood journalist and ‘friend’ Vickey Lalwani that she was divorcing her husband of many years – Aarbaz Khan. The next day, however, the cat was out of the bag. It was just a publicity stunt and both Malaika Arora and Aarbaz were very much together. Mumbai Mirror went out of their way to blast Malaika Arora for her scheming ways.
This time around Malaika Arora seems to have clean forgotten her telephonic conversation and SMS messages exchanged between her, her secretary Dipali and freelance journalist and Celebrity Media Manager, Flynn Remedios just about a week ago.
The actress, along with her manager, faces a possible ban from the yet- to-be-registered, Cine & TV Artiste Managers’ & Secretaries’ Forum following accusations that she refused to intervene after Car Maker Audi and their officials bypassed event agents and artiste managers to sign a deal with her for attending their launch party to be held on 7th November 2008 at the German Embassy in Delhi.

On the grand finale of reality dance show Zara Nachke Dikha. Malaika Arora was shocked by television actor Bhaktyaar Irani’s behaviour and says he had an “attitude problem from day one”. The male contestants led by Bhaktyaar staged an en masse walkout at the grand finale of STAR One’s show last week after they realised they were losing.
The show pitted eight female celebrities against an equal number of guys. While the girls’ team had Swini Khara, Narayani Shastri, Jennifer Winget, Delnaz Paul, Karishma Tanna, Maninee De, Mouni Roy and Rupali Ganguli, the boys team consisted of Amey Pandya, Chaitanya Chowdhary, Amit Tandon, Ali Asgar, Bhaktyaar Irani, Gaurav Chopra, Manish Goel and Vikas Sethi.
“Bhaktyaar definitely has a huge chip on his shoulder. I’ve been on other reality shows, in fact Zara Nach Ke Dikha was my fourth. But never have I encountered such bad behaviour,” Malaika, who earlier judged Nach Baliye for the channel, said.

As an item girl who picks and chooses her projects with utmost care, Malaika has shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor/Nana Patekar, Suneil Shetty and Bobby Deol to name a few. Malaika Arora is finally ready to do her first film as a full-fledged heroine in Sunil Shetty’s forthcoming film, EMI. Malaika, wife of Arbaz Khan, has so far only appeared in myriad Hindi films, but only as a dancer.
Shetty says that Maliaka is perfect for the role in EMI. Apparently it was co-star Arjun Rampal who convinced Malaika to do the role.
