There is indeed a lot of expectation from MURDER 2. After all if the talkie and song promos are any indication, ‘being bold’ has seemingly taken an altogether different meaning for a leading lady in MURDER 2, Jacqueline Fernandez.

“I won’t deny that…continues Jackie “So yes; there were intensive conversations around how to shoot certain intimate scenes between Emraan and me. According to the director of Murder 2, Mohit Suri says shooting bedroom scenes can be a nightmare. Suri, who has directed upcoming thriller, a sequel to 2004 hit film Murder, has shot a few lovemaking scenes with the lead pair Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez.

“Lovemaking is the most difficult scene to shoot because there the director cannot show the actors what to do. You have to let the actors be and let them do their own thing,” the 30-year-old director told. More

For her upcoming release MURDER 2, the ex-Miss Sri Lankan Jacqueline Fernandez would now also be dubbing in her own voice, hence bringing further spice to the proceedings. Mahesh Bhatt, the brain behind Murder and its sequel, admits that Jacqueline is bolder than Jism’s Bipasha Basu and Murder’s Mallika Sherawat (Murder). Says he, “We at Vishesh Films decided to make films with a high quotient of erotica to cater to the new consumer who is living a life radically different from the life I lived in my youth. “Bollywood cinema was slow to realise this but society had moved on. That is why when we made Jism and Murder and Raaz, the audience lapped it up. They had no problems with it. But the purists were outraged.

Jaqueline Fernandes has finally arrived. After appearing in forgettable films like Aladin and Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai and a brief appearance as the sexy Dhanno in Housefull, the Sri Lankan beauty is stepping in Mallika Sherawat’s famous shoes for Murder-2.

With other high-profile projects like Housefull 2 (she has a full length role in the sequel) and Raaz 3 lined up, Jacqueline is busy brushing up her acting skills.

In conversation with Sonil Dedhia, Jacqueline talks about her experience of working with the Bhatts, inevitable comparisons with Mallika Sherawat and why she has no reservations in doing a glamorous role.

How has your Bollywood experience been so far? More

Ever since she stepped into the sizzling shoes of actress Mallika Sherawat for the sequel of the film Murder 2, actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been causing a lot of buzz as she’s better known for her demure, good girl image.

But the Sri Lankan beauty is far from being nervous or apprehensive about being compared to Sherawat’s sensual act. “It’s absolutely okay if comparisons are made. Besides, it’s natural to be compared to Mallika because she did the film Murder, and I’m doing the sequel. I have never met Mallika and I don’t know her personally, but from what I’ve seen of her, I think she is a good actress.”

Fernandez is also unfazed by the fact that the film will have a lot of skin-show and intimate scenes. “I have been a model and done many photo-shoots and shows so I am the most comfortable with my body. Plus as actors, these scenes are always a part of a story. There are 50 -100 crew members when we shoot these scenes, so it’s all work and no play!” More

Working together in director Pradeep Sarkar’s forthcoming film ‘Lafange Parindey’, actress Deepika Padukone has found a friend for life in Neil Nitin Mukesh. Neil once went out of his way to do her make-up personally, which was somewhat different, required for an accident scene.

‘I think I have made a friend for life and I think that’s what I cherished the most because he is a wonderful human being and that comes across on screen. We got along really well,’ said Deepika.

‘There is an accident scene, where I need a different kind of make-up and he is trained in it so he told dada (Pradeep Sarkar) that he will do my make-up and he did. Another day where I was doing…not exactly an action sequence, but lot of cable work and all of that, he choreographed the entire act. So I think in every way he was there for me,’ Deepika told IANS in an interview.

Set in the mean streets of Mumbai, ‘Lafangey Parindey’ is a love story where Neil Nitin Mukesh plays the character of Nandu, a fighter who pummels his opponents in the ring and Deepika Padukone plays Pinky Palkar, a dancer who is blind but ambitious and dances with roller skates on her feet. More
