The sensuous and scintillating Celina Jaitley will now play the role of a traditional Indian daughter-in-law in her forthcoming commedy flick.
Till date portraying the sexy image, Celina will now play a simple girl. With seven films set for release in 2008, she will obviously require a change of image.
In her words, she’d rather be known as a ‘comedy queen’ than a glam-doll. No wonder all her seven releases this year are comedies. Last year, Celina had three films to her credit, none of which worked. That may explain her demure look this time.
She says, “Doing comedy has given me ample opportunity to change my image from glamorous to a plain simple girl. I enjoy being that. In reality, that is what I am.” Well who is what no one can understand in this world of glitz and glamour. Can you ? Source
It seems that jealousy is in the air of bollywood as a fashion these days. One-film old Hansikaa Motwani is not so secure about her co-star Celina Jaitley on the sets of Money Hai Toh Honey Hai. Hansika’s mother Mona was also present on the shoot to accompany daughter but the mother-daughter duo were particularly anxious about the costumes worn by Celina in the film.
Our source reveals, “Hansikaa wore decent clothes and was awed by Celina’s bindaas behaviour on the sets. Once Celina joined the shoot, Hansikaa’s mother Mona started feeling insecure about her. And that is why she caught hold of the film’s stylist Rohit Chaturvedi and demanded to have a peek at Celina’s costumes before they were sent to her.”
This went on for quite long and even the other cast and crew got to know about it. Someone even informed Celina about this, but she laughed it off. But she did ask the stylist to stop showing her costumes to Hansikaa and her mother.”
Celina remained unavailable for comment as she is shooting in Thailand for Golmaal Returns. Meanwhile, Hansikaa says, “These are baseless rumours, I don’t see any truth in this.Celina and my characters are different. Why do I need to check her costumes?”. But hey Hansika Baby you got to polish yourself much more to survive here. This is called Bollywood.
Mumbai, April 19: Bollywood actress Celina Jaitley says she will withdraw her lawsuit against Pooja Bedi, who allegedly called her mentally ill and delusional, if the latter issues a public apology.
`If she apologises to me in all the leading newspapers, I wouldn`t want to take this further. But calling someone delusional is not a small matter. I`ve nothing against Pooja. So I don`t know why she decided to talk like this. People are wondering why she has spoken like this,` Celina told reporters.

A passionate, no-holds-barred kiss between Celina Jaitley and Aftab Shivdasani left the actress with a bleeding lip.
Vikram Bhatt’s forthcoming movie Red has Celina playing a young widow who gets involved in an intense physical and emotional relationship with a man (Aftab) suffering from a heart ailment. The movie features Celina and Aftab in many steamy and intimate scenes, one of which is a passionate kiss. In the scene, Aftab is shown pushing Celina against a wall and then smooching her forcibly.
Since the film’s director Vikram Bhatt wanted the scene to look real, he told the two actors to shed their inhibitions before shooting the scene. But when the shot was being taken, Aftab was apparently a little too wild on Celina. After a few takes, Celina was left with a bleeding upper lip.
The gash further got worse after an infection caused by the lipstick that Celina was using. The actress had to see a doctor and get a tetanus injection. The kissing scene was eventually completed after a two-day delay.
Apparently, Aftab was quite embarrassed because of the incident. It was good that he had asked his girlfriend Yana Gupta to not come on the sets while he was shooting the kiss with Celina.
