Normally we talk about ‘saat janmon ka pyaar’ (love of seven lives/birth) but in case of Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra it’s a ‘teen janmon ka pyaar’ (love of three lives/birth)!
Well, if you think that we are indulging in third rate yellow journalism, you are wrong as your favourite site does not believe in that. So, please read on.
Actually we are talking about Kunal Kohli’s yet untitled film starring Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor. As per our sources, in Kunal’s film Priyanka meets her lover, essayed by Shahid Kapoor, in three different lives (‘janams’). So, as we had said it’s a love of three lives between Shahid and Priyanka.
Well, that sure is an interesting concept and also explains the three looks of Shahid Kapoor in the pictures being circulated in the web world, and should also douse the curiosity of all those who were speculating about Kunal Kohli’s film being a three generation story! Source
No more romantic sagas for Shahid Kapoor – he has reportedly turned down Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s love triangle “Chitthiyan”.
“I haven’t accepted any new offer except Maneesh Sharma’s. And it would be inappropriate to talk about the films I’ve said no to,” said the 30-year-old actor.
Apparently Chopra met Shahid and narrated the story. However, the actor, who has just done a full-on love story “Mausam”, is in no mood to go ultra-romantic so quickly again.
Says a close friend of Shahid, “He is hearing at an average one script every day. For some strange reason, most of the films on offer, including Anand (‘Tanu Weds Manu’) Rai’s ‘Ranjhana’, are love stories. Ideally, Shahid would want to do an action film next.” More

Shahid Kapoor has put his last film’s debacle behind him. Along with his close buddies, Sasha has taken off for a pleasure trip.
“Off for a 10-day break with the boyz to Europe my first real holiday in five years I think … the idea is to completely loooooose it,” the actor posted on twitter. Break bhi zaroori hota hai. Source
Yes, the two actors of distinct personalities – Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha – will be soon sharing the screen space for a project.
Our birdies shared that the handsome Kapoor and the charming Sinha have been signed up for Sajid Nadiadwala’s untitled production, which will be helmed by ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ famed director Sabbir Khan.
Said to be romantic-action film, the story and screenplay is written by Nadiadwala.
Incidentally, birdies added, before this project Sonakshi was offered a Yash Raj Films’ movie with her ‘good friend’ Ranveer Singh. However, the beauty opted for Shahid starrer instead. Already talks are in circles about Sonakshi and Ranveer’s growing closeness after they performed together at an awards function. Guess Ms. Sinha doesn’t want to mix ‘friendship’ with profession. Pankaj Kapur’s MAUSAM was recently in news for being denied a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the IAF (Indian Air Force). Following the denial MAUSAM was shown to the IAF that granted the film a conditional NOC asking for a change of 30 seconds in the film. The makers of the film accepted the condition and have carried out the required changes.
While briefing a press conference director Pankaj Kapur revealed, “The IAF didn’t ask us to remove anything, they only asked for minor changes, these were computer graphic changes to be made in an action sequence in the film which we have incorporated. It is our duty to make sure that all the representation is done authentically and in accordance with IAF, I thank them, they have been very supportive.” More
Shahid Kapoor says working on ‘Mausam’, his father Pankaj Kapoor’s directorial debut, forced him to get out of his comfort zone as an actor.
The actor, who took a year and half off from other projects to concentrate on the love-story set in the recent past, says he learnt some of the most valuable lessons in filmmaking by observing his father on the sets.
“He (Pankaj) pushed me a lot as an actor. When I signed up the film I knew that I wanted to learn and unlearn certain things. I mean, every actor has a comfort zone and knows that there are certain things which people like about him and he plays on them. I wanted to get out of that and ‘Mausam’ helped me do that,” Shahid told PTI. More

Come September and it would be known to one and all that kisme kitna hai dum. Month of July has been extraordinary for Bollywood with four huge hits in a row. However September could well be the most defining month of 2011 when it comes to youngsters taking the forefront and rising up to the challenge. Shahid Kapoor, Imran Khan and John Abraham – three Gen X actors on whom Bollywood future is dependent would be vying for attention right through the month, hence claiming their spot under the sun.
Says a filmmaker who has a knack for launching newcomers, “This is the most crucial period for the industry since all three actors are at a very crucial juncture of their career. Shahid has to score a big hit with ‘Mausam’ so that after ‘Kaminey, ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘Vivah’, he can stake further claim in the bracket of top stars. Ditto for Imran Khan who has to now strike hard with ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ now that his positioning is hot after ‘Delhi Belly’, ‘Break Ke Baad’ and ‘I Hate Luv Storys’.” More

From the very first day Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor starrer MAUSAM went on floors, we’ve been hearing reports about Shahid and Sonam not getting along well.
When asked Shahid Kapoor about the same he said, ‘We have a very friendly-fighty relationship. Sonam and I love & hate each other. That is how we are.’
Sonam Kapoor was quick to add, ‘I don’t usually interact with my co-stars. Actually, I’m extremely shy and reserved person before someone gets to know me. Shahid had to talk to me initially and then we were fighting. But I don’t think we had any major fights. We used fight about the kind of clothes Shahid wore. Eventually we became friends.’ Source
Seeing stepmom Supriya Pathak’s prominent contribution towards every department of Mausam, Shahid Kapoor has persuaded his producers to bill her as the associate director for the movie.
According to members of the film’s primary crew, Pathak has contributed enormously in shaping the film that is being directed by Pankaj Kapur.
Says a source, “It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say the Shahid-Sonam Kapoor starrer couldn’t have been made without Supriyaji.
From the lighting to the script and dialogues, to making sure that the actors have their lines ready, to adjusting their clothes, to making sure Pankaj has his medicines and meals on time, she has been the driving-force of the film.” More
