Arjun Kapoor idolizes Salman Khan, the actor whom Arjun looks up to, aspires to be and seeks inspiration from. When Arjun showed the trailers of Ishaqzaade to Salman Khan, the actor liked it and said “good”. Arjun says that it means a lot to him. If Salman Khan isn’t criticizing or being negative about something that means he has liked it. The ‘Ishaqzaade’ boy also reveals that if Salman is close to somebody then he minces no words.

Sohail Khan’s wife Seema Khan’s Kallista Spa and Salon based in Bandra, a western Mumbai suburb, had its grand opening over the weekend.

The do was attended by the close friends and associates of the Khan family.

According to sources, Aditya Chopra wants his forthcoming venture with Salman Khan to be not only the actor’s biggest hit, but also surpass Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots at the box office. The filmmaker is, in fact, studying the success trends of both the actors and chalking out an appropriate strategy.

“Chopra scion is sparing no effort or cost to ensure that when the Kabir Khan directed film Ek Tha Tiger, also featuring Katrina Kaif, opens on Eid, it rakes in the highest collections ever. The idea is to not only surpass Bodyguard’s first day collections of Rs  20 crore, but also the opening day numbers of Rs 26 crore registered by Agneepath, if possible,” said a source.

“This is also why the makers will be releasing the film with a record number of prints in India and the overseas circuit,” the source added. More

Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Sonakshi Sinha were spotted at the launch of Kallista Spa, yesterday in Mumbai. At the event, Salman seemed all cheerful to talk about his upcoming film DABANGG 2.

Says Salman, ‘Arbaaz is doing a really good job and yes we are really happy that he is directing DABANGG 2. Boht achcha kaam karr raha hai Arbaaz. Superb job he is doing and you will come to know once the film releases.’

Talking about his co-star Sonakshi Sinha a.k.a Mrs. Rajjo Pandey, Khan said, “Sonakshi is killing it…She is killing it in DABANGG 2. In the first one…thode inhibitions thi usko…But after that she did ROWDY RATHORE and now DABANGG 2. She has gone altogether on a different level. She’s on a roll now!” More

The 46-year-old actor is their first brand ambassador in India and the reason for this Dabangg choice is the actor’s mass appeal. Also, Khan’s iconic status and unique style goes well with company’s recently adopted brand theme ‘Apna Way of Life’.

According to a birdie that has been chirping non-stop about the rollicking friendship between Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, the two stars met for a ‘special date’ on Sunday and it would have been their first private outing since they broke up two years ago.

Salman Khan left his Galaxy apartment around 11 am and headed to a gift shop to buy something special for Katrina, a gift he had finalized in advance. However, once there, he was shocked to see Shahrukh Khan already inside the shop. Instead of barging in, Salman decided to wait outside but SRK took his sweet time bumming around in the shop, while Sallu, parked outside, fumed with rage and impatience. Bollywood star Salman Khan has turned into a businessman – he has invested in the online travel portal Yatra.com and will also be the face of its new marketing campaign in India and the US.

The association will strengthen the company’s connect with the masses and increase the brand’s recall value in tier-II and III towns, said a press statement.

Salman Khan is looking forward to the venture.

“I am really excited about my association with Yatra.com. This is not a normal brand association, where I am there just for face value. With Yatra, I am also now a shareholder,” said Salman Khan in a statement. More

That Kareena Kapoor is fond of the Khans is now old news. But what might excite you a bit is the latest piece of gossip that she could make an appearance in Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2.

The word that our ear caught is that Kareena Kapoor has been approached for an item number in Dabangg 2. Considering what a rage ‘Chikni Chameli’ became for Agneepath, it seems producer-director Arbaaz Khan wants a similar item by a top actress in his film as well and Kareena is on his wishlist. But there’s a problem. Kareena is known for her disdain for ‘item numbers’.

For one, the lady doesn’t like the term item song as she feels it is degrading to the artistes who perform in them. Secondly, she doesn’t want to be a part of an item that just pops out of nowhere in a script, just for the sake of adding some glamour to the narrative.

So we hear that Kareena Kapoor has put forth a small list of demands to Arbaaz Khan. What these demands are? A) The song shouldn’t be called an item number nor promoted thus. B) The song should be part of a dream sequence and therefore justify its presence in the script. More

Salman Khan might be roped in for a cameo in a South project starring Hollywood action star Jackie Chan and South superstar Kamal Haasan. However, sources close to the Bodyguard star claim that Khan might opt out of the project as he would be too busy with other commitments.

Sources close to Salman Khan were quoted to have said, “Salman is shooting for the Dabangg sequel at the moment and then he has promotions for another project coming up after which he is committed to Shirish Kunder for Kick. There is a lot of post production work too in between and it seems that this year, he will have no time to devote to any other project.”

Meanwhile, it is also being said that Sallu will try his hand at directing by lending a hand to brother Arbaaz Khan, who is helming Dabangg 2. Source
