‘Oh My God’ complaints: Cops guard Akshay’s home
Most Hindi film actors have a coterie of six to eight security guards accompanying them wherever they go. However, Akshay Kumar, who is normally escorted by just one guard, had been an exception till now.
TOI has learnt Akki has been given police protection as a precautionary measure after a senior Punjab Mahila Congress leader lodged a complaint with the Jalandhar Police, alleging Akshay has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus in OMG: Oh My God that hit theatres yesterday.
A source from the trade told, “Two policemen have been positioned 24×7 outside Akshay’s Juhu residence since a couple of days.”
