Ranbir Kapoor Is Still In Abhinav Kashyap’s Besharam

There have been incessant rumours in the past sometime saying Ranbir Kapoor has walked out of Abhinav Kashyap’s upcoming film Besharam, starring him alongside Parineeti Chopra. Some reports also said that with Ranbir quitting the film, Abhinav has decided to shelve the film.

RK Jr, who is busy promoting his forthcoming film, Barfi! these days, didn’t react to the talk about him walking out of Besharam. But we were relieved when he recently said, “Besharam is Abhinav Kashyap’s film and I have not left it. These are just rumours.” Naysayers are still going around town saying that the film has been shelved, and there has been no statement from Viacom 18 yet. But the fact is that Kashyap is busy looking for a leading lady for Ranbir. While any babe would go out on a limb to share screen space with the Kapoor scion, we hear that the director is considering the possibility of casting a newbie.

Ranbir reveals he was supposed to flirt with the three actresses and it wasn’t easy for him. “The world thinks I am a big flirt. So wherever I go, they make me flirt with the girls. It’s tough because I am a shy kind of person. But the script was good and they were making a promo where I had to flirt with the three bahus. All were good and it was fun,” Ranbir said.
