Nathalia Kaur’s Item Song In ‘Department’ Is Not The Original One
Nathalia Kaur’s spicy ‘Dan Dan Dana’ song from the film Department is riding high on success, all thanks to Nathalia’s oomphy gyrations, her naughty antics of a seductress, and the catchy beat of the song, but the track is allegedly not an original one.
The much-hyped song from Ram Gopal Varma’s film Department has reportedly been copied from a song featuring the superstar Rajinikanth. The song Vagai from Rajinikanth’s 1983 film Adutha Varisu was a retro hit. Surprisingly, the retro number also features sexy girls clad in skimpy dresses. Sexbomb Silk Smitha was also seen dancing with Rajinikanth in the original.
The music of the song has been composed by the maverick Illayaraja, while it was sung by Malaysia Vasudevan. You can catch the original here to see the similarities between the two tracks. The song from Department has vocals by Paroma, Ravi, Sandeep Patil, and the music has been provided by Bappi Lahiri, Dharam-Sandeep and Vikram Magi.
Ram Gopal Varma launched model Nathalia Kaur into Bollywood with this racy track. The director is so awestruck by the girl that he incessantly kept writing about her beauty and curves on twitter. Nathalia has danced like a dream and indeed looks million bucks in the song. The Kingfisher calendar girl has struck gold with this item track.
The song also features Rana Daggubati and Sanjay Dutt. Both the actors have also tried to match steps with Nathalia. The song is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. Source
