Akshay Kumar Donates 2 Crores To Ice Hockey Association Of India

His latest home production Breakaway aka Speedy Singhs is all set for release, but we don’t call him the Khiladi Kumar for nothing, Akshay Kumar will donate Rs 2 crore to the Ice Hockey Association Of India ( IHAOI) in an attempt to promote the sport in the country.

The decision of donating the amount to the IHAOI was made by Akshay and the makers of Speedy Singhs to encourage the sport within India. The IHAOI in New Delhi is the national body coordinating ice hockey in India under the supervision of the International Ice Hockey Federation.

Incidentally Speedy Singhs is also based on the sport of ice hockey. The film is slated to release on September 23. Source
