The song has managed to retain the original version with a new flavour. The sexy Yana Gupta, clad in a sexy red choli and black tattered skirt looks sensuous with her fresh and refreshing Bollywood moves.

With names like Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and Freida Pinto being tossed about for months, it has now been confirmed that a new face will be the female lead of Dhoom: 3.

Yash Raj Films yesterday announced that the thriller will not have a known female star but a newbie. Producer Aditya Chopra and director Vijay Krishna Acharya are keen to cast a fresh face to play the female lead role in the movie for which a hunt is on.

The film stars Aamir Khan along with Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra playing their roles of Jai Dixit and Ali. The music will be composed by Pritam. D:3 goes on the floors by the year-end and is slated for a 2012 Christmas release.

Though Asin must be on cloud nine given the fact that her forthcoming film READY is making the right noise, but here’s something Asin needs to worry about.

Firstly, READY being Salman’s film means that all eyes are going to be on him. This film belongs to Salman solely and Asin needs to worry about this fact. So, far she has been completely overshadowed by his stardom.

According to trade observers, “Asin is facing the same situation as she faced with her debut film -GHAJINI. That film was completely dominated by Aamir’s stardom and READY is proving to be the same. Though on the film front READY might be a lucky draw for Asin, but on an individual front it can’t do much for her as the presence of Salman is bound to take all attention away from her. And to tell the truth, it is already apparent in the promotions of the film.”

Though Asin might be talking to all and sundry about her next big release, but the fact that her act is getting overshadowed by Salman’s charisma should be a cause of worry at the same time. Source

Acclaimed filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has teamed up with designer Shabinaa Khan to co-produce the interestingly titled movie “Rowdy Rathore”, which is his first film with Bollwood star Akshay Kumar.

For the first time Bhansali is indulging in an out-and-out actioner that will also star Sonakshi Sinha.

“To me an action film is totally an alien concept. At this juncture as a filmmaker, I want to move out of the comfort zone and do things that are new and untried,” Bhansali, known for mangnum opus like Devdas and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, said in a statement.

Southern star Prabhu Deva will wield the megaphone for the movie. He showed his magic when he went behind the camera to direct Salman Khan in Wanted that turned out to be one of the biggest hits of 2009 and now he is expected to break stereotypical boundaries of the action genre with Rowdy Rathore.

“I’m very excited about my first production film Rowdy Rathore, which is a hardcore action masala flick and with such a talented team on board. Pray the audiences will love,” said Shabinaa. More

Superstar Salman Khan, who is all set for the release of his upcoming film Ready, says that after Aamir, Shahrukh and him, Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan will be the next superstars.

In a very candid interview with zoom TV, Salman Khan revealed, “From the younger lot, I think both Ranbir and Imran are superb. They’re super talented and they’re here to stay”. When dug into further the actor told, “I think after Aamir, SRK and me, they are the next superstars”.

Well, that was a very honest answer Salman.

Actress Anushka Sharma managed to become the talk of the town after her thunderous performance in Band Baaja Baarat and the actress admits that she is in a happy state of mind. Though the Bengaluru girl is fast gaining popularity, she insists that she is far from being a typical Bollywood star that people usually mob.

When people see me on the streets, they just let me be — at least in Mumbai people are sensible enough not to mob you. At the most, some ask me to pose for pictures or give them an autograph. I haven’t had any unpleasant experience till date.” Okay, so she doesn’t get mobbed by fans but what about male attention? “Honestly, nobody hits on me. I know it’s actually sad but that’s the truth. Tell me where is the time to meet a new guy and get to know him. I don’t meet men outside my work and the sad part is that I work round the clock, which leaves me with little chances of meeting my knight in shining armour, but I am hopeful,” she winks.

Ask the actress if she thinks that she got her due a tad bit late in the industry — after four films and she said, “Honestly, I can’t get pompous. As an actor you just have to do you work well and the praises and approvals you get after that are just added bonuses. I am definitely getting a lot of compliments and good gestures, but I don’t pay too much attention to it. I am here to do my job and I will make sure I do it really well.” Source

No, it’s not Sanjay Dutt or Emraan Hashmi playing the underworld goon. It is, in fact, the bubbly-faced Preity Zinta who will be seen essaying the role of a gangster! The actress has reportedly said ‘yes’ to Jai Ramji, to be directed by filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia.

“Preity Zinta liked the script and has agreed to work in the film. However, I have not yet formally signed her, as she is busy with IPL and is not in Mumbai. The formalities should be completed once she is back in the city,” Dhulia told Mumbai Mirror.

Other stars in the film include Arjun Rampal, Irrfan Khan and Randeep Hooda. The film is reportedly going on floors in July and should be complete by December-January. The last time a lady was seen in a gangster role was Neha Dhupia playing Munni Madam in Phas Gaye Re Obama.

Amisha Patel is the latest Bollywood actress to branch out into the world of producing. She will follow in the footsteps of actresses Sushmita Sen, Dia Mirza and Lara Dutta who all have launched production houses.

A source close to the actress told the media that “Amisha has a lot of interesting content which she wants to convert into films.” The source went onto say that soon the actress will be ‘appointing a team full of promising and accomplished directors to start making movies for her’.

Amisha held the launch party of her production house, Amisha Patel Productions, at Aurus Pup in Juhu, Mumbai on Saturday 23rd April. Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Sussanne Roshan and Rakesh Roshan were just some of the stars that attended the party.
