Akshay Kumar, as we all know has done action, comedy, romance and drama with great élan. However, after dabbling in out-and-out action flicks and rib-tickling comedies, Akshay is looking for something new.  News has it that ‘Khiladi’ Kumar, who is playing a bowler in his upcoming flick ‘Patiala House’, is looking forward to play cricket at national level. An ardent fitness freak, the actor is learning the fine nuances of the game in order to become a professional cricketer.

Talking to a news daily on his latest craze, Akshay said, “I`m working towards it. Practising cricket gives me the biggest high. Every morning I look forward to practising with Balwinder Singh Sandhu.”

“I am not yet good enough to play national level cricket, but I am getting there. I`ve been taking bowling lessons for ‘Patiala House’ from one of the best trainers. I`m very sporty by nature. So it was quite easy for me to pick it up.”

Speaking on his training schedule, Akshay said, “I`m getting good enough to play beyond the film. And I will very soon. I promise you.” Source
