Everyone’s eagerly waiting for the third instalment of the super successful ‘Hera Pheri’, but do you know why it’s called ‘Hera Pheri 4’ and not ‘Hera Pheri 3’? Well, buzz has it that the film’s third part will also include Amitabh Bachchan besides the deadly trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty and hence the name. According to reports, Amitabh will have an equally important role in the flick to be directed by Anees Bazmee.

“After the success of the sequels, they decided to add some more masala to the film. Director Anees Bazmee has scripted a very strong character which is the fourth character and of has a lot of importance to the story. This third sequel will have more twists and turns and one had to play more with the characters. Mr Bachchan is a wonderful actor and it was very long since one saw him doing a comic role. He will essay the role very beautifully”, says a source.

Director Anees Bazmee confirms that Big B is being considered for the film. He says, “We are still in the scripting stage. The script is being written keeping Amitabh Bachchan in mind. I still have to narrate the script to him. We both are keen on working with each other. Things are yet to be finalised.” Source

Celina Jaitley is not quite a successful actress but she has gained success when the matter comes to her professionalism.

Here’s one such instance. Celina Jaitley was busy shooting for ‘Shreemati’ (Kannada version of ‘Aitraaz’) across the exotic locales of Maldives. Unfortunately, the actress landed up with an injury and a stitch on her hand. The actress felt the pain quite unbearable, but couldn’t restrict herself from filming.

When she was made aware that the third schedule of her new movie ‘Chai Garam’ is going to soon commence in Thailand, she showed her professionalism by agreeing to remove the stitch and shoot. Sources say that Celina did not want to put her crew into any kind of trouble and didn’t want to disappoint her team by letting them down. So she decided to forgo her pain and complete the shoot. Now when his songs are turning out to be biggest chartbusters, the music director turned actor Himesh Reshammiya feels disgusted with media channels terming him to be a singer with nasal touch. In his recent interaction with media channels, Himesh made it clear that he loves crooning with high pitch and doesn’t go for nasal singing.

Says Himesh: “I was really sickened with people passing on comments that I have nasal touch while singing. Naturally, when anyone sings with high pitched octaves, some notes may slight get in touch modalities with nasal and that doesn’t actually mean – Nasal singing.”

To break this clichéd prototype, Himesh has crooned almost all songs in upcoming film ‘Radio’ with low-pitched tone except one song with usual traits. Source

The bold actress of ‘Nishabd’ Jiah Khan’s filmy career might have come to a standstill but she manages to remain in the news for her affairs. The actress is rumored to be dating producer Bunty Walia’s younger brother, Jaspreet.

They met four months ago through a common friend and took no time to stick with each other. A source says, “Jiah and Jaspreet are madly in love. They tend to fight a lot too. It’s quite a passionate relationship.” “So what if UTV is not doing any more films with Jiah after she was chucked out from their film Chance Pe Dance? Jiah is not in a hurry to sign more films. Right now, she is enjoying her time with Jaspreet. She is reading a few scripts as well,” says a friend of Jiah.

The Oscar-winning film-maker Danny Boyle and Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan will be attending the Doha 21st Century Leaders Award. Earlier, it was reported that SRK has been approached for Bombay Velvet, a film that was supposed to be directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Danny Boyle. Though there’s no official announcement on that front, the actor and the film-maker will be at their social best at the event.

When asked about meeting SRK, Danny’s spokesperson wrote in an email to CT, “Danny and Christian and also Shah Rukh Khan will all be attending the 21st Century Leaders event in Doha on Friday 30. It’s going to be a fantastic event, happening in conjunction with the Doha Tribeca Film Festival and Reach Out To Asia, which Danny, Christian and Shah Rukh are all attending in support of these various charitable endeavours and their own not-for-profit work.” Josh Hartnett, Sir Ben Kingsley and film-makers Danny Boyle and Christian Colson are reportedly amongst the first recipients of Doha 21st Century Leaders awards. Bollywood legend Rajesh Khanna who ruled the heart of millions during his times has hit the headlines for doing sensational scene with Pakistani actress Saraa then he has also created waves by accepting Bigg Boss against his son-in-law Akshay’s choice. Now the actor is again filling the gossip column for his differences with son-in-law Akshay Kumar. Akki eyes Khanna’s multi crore bungalow Aashirwad on Carter Road, Mumbai. He desires to purchase it but Khanna straightaway rejected him.

Very few know that Rajesh Khanna owns various antique pieces like a few antique clock pieces. One of his close assistant, says, “Rajesh Khanna had returned home in the wee hours after attending a Mujra where he had gifted the singer his watch and a silver kada that was given to him by Dimple Kapadia. When I met him for breakfast, he was dreading the moment when Dimple would find these things missing on him.”

The slim beauty Shilpa Shetty got engaged to London-based businessman Raj Kundra in Mumbai on Saturday. The ceremony was a personal affair and was held at Raj’s Juhu residence in Mumbai. The 34-year-old actress was wearing a pink sari designer by film industry’s favourite designer Manish Malhotra. However, she will be wearing Tarun Tahiliani’s outfits for all other functions of the wedding.

“I can’t talk about the details of the outfits but I can tell you that she will look absolutely stunning,” Tahiliani told IANS on the sidelines of his show at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) in the Capital on Saturday.
Asked about the number of outfits he will be designing for Shilpa, Tahiliani said: “I’ll design everything”. The designer has earlier had Shilpa as his showstopper for two fashion events – but her appearance in a heavy lehenga choli at the HDIL India Couture Week last year is etched in many people’s mind. Just like King Khan Shahrukh, Shahid Kapoor too apparently spent 90 minutes at the New York airport, while the authorities grilled his spotboy Mohammed Manjoor Allam, better known as Mamu in Bollywood. Mamu, an elderly gentleman, has been taking care of Shahid since childhood and is working as the actor’s valet or spotboy.

Shahid is currently in the US for a 40-day schedule of Parmeet Sethi’s untitled venture being produced by Aditya Chopra. He had left for the US days prior to the release of his film Dil Bole Hadippa! along with actress Anushka Sharma, choreographer Ahmed Khan and a close-knit unit. For the first leg of the shooting, the unit was in Philadelphia and from there, they packed to move to the Big Apple last week. It was during his entry into New York that Mamu was asked to step aside and questioned separately as his name needed special clearance. A member of the unit said, “The questioning lasted for nearly 90 minutes. Though Mamu has travelled extensively to most countries with Shahid, USA is the only country he had not visited.”

When Mamu was stopped at the airport, Shahid sensed that he was very nervous, especially since he wasn’t very fluent in English. Shahid didn’t allow him to feel isolated in a foreign land and sat with him throughout the questioning. Mamu was eventually let off, however, the airport did not give a reason for this 90-minute questioning. The actor was unavailable for comment, but his official PR spokesperson confirmed the news. “Yes this incident did happen,” she told BT. Source

One of the first volunteers is Bollywood star Sushmita Sen. “Sush will be the first guest on the show as she talks about her pechle janam to Ravi,” says a source for the programme, “The shooting of the same will start on 28 of this month.”

Sushmita hopes to start her own foundation soon. “I’m actually working on a charity organization of my own,” she confirms, “I haven’t started it yet, but I really am looking forward to it. Children are a cause very close to my heart.”

Sush was most recently on screen in David Dhawan’s slightly tired looking Govinda comedy Do Knot Disturb which also starred Lara Dutta and Riteish Deshmukh and her next showing is likely to be with Kangana Ranaut in No Problem. Source

The Khiladi of bollywood, Akshay Kumar has performed some of the most daring stunts in Bollywood and has escaped unhurt. Unfortunately, he wasn’t so lucky while shooting at Madh Island for a fairly simple scene for Sajid Khan’s Houseful on Wednesday night. Akshay had to dive into the deep end of a swimming pool when his timing went awry and water entered his ears. Although Akshay immediately came out of the pool, the damage was already done as the water had reached his ear drums.

Initially, Akshay didn’t realise the impact of the injury. He suddenly complained of excruciating earache at 4am and was immediately rushed to a hospital. A specialist was called for, who asked Akshay to either rest for an entire day in the hospital or at home. Akshay chose to rest at home.

A source said, “Akshay has to report to the sets of his new film Khatta Meetha at Baramati today. A special chopper has been hired to take him there as he isn’t feeling too well due to his ear injury.” Sajid Khan, director of Houseful, confirmed the news and said, “Yes, Akshay did injure his ear but there is nothing to worry about now.” Source

Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone had a showdown due to the floating rumor of Katrina and Ranbir’s closeness during the shooting of ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahini’.

Deepika candidly accepted that she feels insecure about her relationship especially after the rumor of Ranbir’s intimacy with Katrina. Deepika also feels irritated about the rumors of her closeness with Farhan Akhtar. She feels that those rumors were spread by her rival Katrina Kaif.

Recently, when Deepika was shooting an intimate scene with Farhan for ‘Kartik Calling Kartik’, Katrina landed on the set. Deepika is pretty sure that the rumor was spread by none other than Katrina who is trying to widen the gap between her and Ranbir.

Says a source close to Katrina, ‘Suddenly there were stories about how Deepika and Farhan had great chemistry and how they sizzle together, that she didn’t have such chemistry even with Ranbir. It was very easy to figure out where these stories started circulating from.” More

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has really become a strict filmmaker. In the past, Bhansali has been known to act quite aggressively with his assistants and this recent incident only proves how belligerent he can be.  While shooting on the outskirts of Goa, Bhansali threw the continuity sheets of his forthcoming Hrithik Roshan-Aishwarya starrer Guzaarish in a river when one of his assistant directors made the same mistake twice.

Bhansali had already warned the AD in no uncertain terms that the earlier mistake in continuity should not be repeated. Unfortunately, the AD goofed up the continuity once again and Bhansali refused to ignore it this time. That’s when the moody director screamed at the assistant director and threw the continuity sheets in the river.

On seeing Bhansali’s fit of rage, the entire unit trembled with fright. Failing to understand what to do next, one of the unit members immediately jumped into the river to recover the continuity sheets, which were, of course, fully soaked. The shoot resumed after some time but everybody behaved cautiously on the sets all day. Source
