Recently, Fardeen Khan’s lady neighbour was troubled by few men, claiming to be security guards of a builder. According to sources, the builder for a long time was pestering the lady, Niloufer Kapadia, to sell her house to him. But this 60 year one was not willing to do so as she was living there for around 40 years. Following which the builder resorted to other ways to get her out of the place, like cutting her water and power supply.

This time, the builder’s men refrained Kapadia from parking her car in her usual place and even tried to bully her. She immediately sought help from her neighbour, Akbar Khan, Fardeen’s uncle.

Later in the course of the commotion, Fardeen too joined in. the actor tried to reason out their illegal actions and offered Kapadia to move her car to his house’s basement. But the builder’s men refused to let him bring the car in and some twenty-five people started banging on the car to stop it. “A furious altercation followed, the builder’s driver put his hand inside the car and tried to forcibly take the keys out of the ignition. Fardeen got very angry at this and he, Akbar Khan and I decided to go the cops to file an FIR; Fardeen stayed with us for four hours until the police registered our complaint,” recounted Kapadia. With bollywood numero uno diva Katrina Kaif emerging as the top runner to play the object of affection of Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in the sequel to Dostana, the buzz has been doing rounds that Priyanka Chopra has begun feeling insecure. But why would an actress riding high on the success of three back-to-back hits (Fashion, Dostana and Kaminey) feel threatened by competition? Priyanka says she isn’t.

“I compete with everyone instead of just one person…But more than anyone, I compete with myself,” Priyanka told a news daily. The actress added that whenever she does a film she wants to perform better than her last work. True indeed, she has gone from strength to strength from ‘Dostana’ to ‘Fashion’ (for which she’s even won the best actress award) and now ‘Kaminey’ (for which she’s likely to bag a couple of nominations next year). And let’s not forget she’s created a new record and might enter the Guinness Book for playing a dozen characters (each with a different sun sign) in director Ashutosh Gowarikar’s film What’s Your Raashee?.

Our sources reveal that the director duo Abbas-Mustan and Abhishek Bachchan have finally patched up after an infamous spat and are looking forward to work on a new flick. Grapevine has it that the movie is a remake of Hollywood flick ‘The Italian Job.’ With the director duo attaining the movie rights, Abbas-Mustan will be making necessary changes to the movie so as to suit the Indian audiences.
 
For all those who are unaware of Abhishek and Abbas-Mustan spat, news had it that the actor and the director duo had an ugly spat and the former ditched the latter at the last minute during the making of a flick starring Bobby Deol and Bollywood hottie Priyanka Chopra.

Salman Khan is the most desperate guy in the bollywood arena to become a good man. He says he is trying to quit smoking.

Asked about the habit that is hard to kick, he said: “I’m trying to (quit smoking)… Smoking is something people start to either enter a social circle or to show off.”

But he does have a word of advice for others trying to quit cigarettes too.

“Once you quit, there are also chances of picking it up again because when you find people around you smoking, you join them to be with them. But it slowly and slowly kills you and people stop only when they are advised by the doctor. So everyone should quit it before reaching that stage,” Salman said.  Source

The love birds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will present the audience with a bed chemistry through a passionate lovemaking scene in director Rensil D’Silva’s film “Kurbaan”.

The scenes are said to be too steamy for a regular audience. The director is worried that a certain section of the sex-starved audience might storm the theatres just to see Saif and Kareena in bed.”A section of the audience might decide to see the film only to see the real-life couple making love on screen. It would be tragic,” Rensil is quoted as saying.

Saif and Bebo took the shot in one go and were comfortable while shooting it, even no rehearsing was required. It is also being said that Chhote Nawab and Bebo have created a new Bollywood record for the longest onscreen kiss by any two co-stars.

“Kurbaan” is a film on the issue of terrorism. It has Saif playing a suave and dapperly man working as an undercover terrorist. Kareena plays his wife. Vivek Oberoi plays a moderate Muslim in the movie, which is produced by Karan Johar. Source

The male item song is gaining heat for a few years now - and not just in Bollywood, where sexy Shah Rukh Khan has been flashing his megawatt smile and glistening abs in songs like ‘Mast Kalander’. The trend is moving south to Sandalwood where director Ashok Kashyap has roped Vivek Oberoi into an item song for his Kannada language film Sihi Muthu.

Vivek’s song will be shot with a huge budget of Rs. 40 lakhs and Ashok Kashyap will be directing it personally. Mr. Kashyap is probably best known for his work as a cinematographer for the hit Kannanda-language film Joke Falls, which was based on the classic Bollywood film Chupke Chupke. Sihi Muthu, however, has an original story written by Mr. Kashyap’s wife Rekha Rani, and will be a heroine-driven film about a girl (played by debutante Pooja) who is searching for five different people who have helped her in her past.

Despite being overshadowed by the bigger South Indian industries of Tolly and Kollywood, Kannada-language films are well respected and have attracted such actors as Amitabh Bachchan, who did a rare guest appearance in the 2005 film Amrithadare. Says director Anthony, “It was very difficult to shoot with the wild spotted dolphins and we had to travel overnight to Bimini to shoot with them. It was well worth all the efforts, as the outcome was spectacular! We were extremely lucky to find a cluster of them and the delightful tricks, which the dolphins learnt especially for the song, make for a visual treat.”

Slated to hit the theatres on 16th Oct ‘09, this oceanic spectacle features Bollywood stars like Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan, Rahul Dev and Katrina Kaif. The khiladi of bollywood Akshay Kumar and Twinkle is a happily married couple and blessed with a cute son, Aarav. Akshay Kumar revealed as why he chose Twinkle as his life partner. He maintains that when it comes to mental strength women are stronger than men and he chose Twinkle because she has the guts to kick people in the butt.

“I didn’t fall in love with my wife because she could dance around a tree. I fell for her strength as an independent woman. She kicked butt at school and she could do it now if she wanted. She is fearless to the outside world and I think it’s a great perception for women”, Akshay said.

Akshay has a great respect for Twinkle and feels that she is bold enough to shift from acting to interior decorator and what strange him the most is that she is doing exceptionally well in her new field.
