Yesterday Delhi police filed a report in a court on a man’s complaint seeking registration of a criminal case against Bollywood actor John Abraham for allegedly posing indecently in a photograph published in a Hindi daily recently. An action taken report was submitted on behalf of the Station House Officer of Motinagar police station in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Ashish Aggarwal.

The court, however, put the matter for September one for giving complainant C M Dua an opportunity to put forward arguments in the matter. Dua, who runs a NGO, sought registration of a FIR against model-turned-actor Abraham, the publisher and the editor of the daily.

The court had on July seven asked the SHO, Motinagar, to file an action taken report in the matter since the complaint alleged commission of cognisable offences under Section 292 and 294 (relating to spread of obscene material) of the IPC. More

Kareena Kapoor is desperate to work with Imtiaz Ali all over again. “I need my acting energies to be re-fuelled. I’d love to work with Imtiaz Ali again after Jab We Met. Right now, he’s soaked in Love Aaj Kal. And that’s just fine. That’s my film too.”

After being hit by malaria Deepika Padukone has resumed shooting. Sajid Khan has a houseful of actors shooting for his Housefull and so with Deepika falling ill, it was going to threaten the schedule out of gear. But according to Sajid Khan, all is well.

The director said, “Deepika is 90% well and she has resumed shooting.” That certainly brings some relief for the producer, Sajid Nadiadwala who has some of the biggest names in the industry acting in his film.

Akshay Kumar’s dates are precious as he is shooting round the clock. He had given bulk dates for Housefull to Sajid and is expected to be with them till September end. Salman Khan, who is well-known for not leaving a single opportunity to take a jibe on anyone, was surprisingly all praise for the newly turned producer actor Naseer Khan. Naseer despite being blind in real-life has played the role of a sharp shooter and car mechanic. Salman somehow was more impressed with producer Naseer Khan than actor.

Comparing him with the other top-notch producers in the industry today, he applauded the honesty in Naseer as a producer. “I respect Naseer, for he did not use his disability to make a fool of people associated with his film, which he could easily do. Unlike others producers who are always ready with some or the other excuse to escape from paying the money, Naseer has be a real gentleman,” says the star.

The most sexy girl Neha Dhupia is ready to leave for the US on August 1 for the premiere of the movie Bollywood Hero in which she plays the role of an Indian actress called Lalima. “It’s a nice and funny movie. And mine’s a very funny role. I play a typical Bollywood actress and it’s a spoof on Indian cinema the way it is known. Chris Kattan plays the lead in the movie,” says Neha, who is very excited about this project.

“My friends called me a couple of days ago and said that they’ve seen billboards of my pictures all over New York. I didn’t have to go out of my way for this movie and it was a very interesting script,” she adds.

The recent bikini babe Ameesha Patel was invited by an educational trust in Pune to felicitate the board toppers from the region. The actress who’s a gold medalist in economics was chosen because of her interest in academics. The trust thought she was the right person to encourage students about the importance of education. The actress distributed computers, and motorbikes to the students who topped the merit list in classes X and XII.

Talking about her initiative Ameesha says, “We gave the boys the motorbikes and the girls mopeds. I think it’s important to encourage and felicitate those who excel in their studies cause it sends across the right signal. There were around 5,000 people present at the event. Mostly kids along with their parents had come to attend the function.”

Ameesha hopes that the computers and bikes make life simpler for the students, “Most of these kids come from distant places and for them commuting is a huge issue. Hence I hope they use the bikes to travel to their colleges, and make sure they drive safely.” Source

As Katrina cited her inability to do the film as she was headed to London, the makers have roped in Amrita Rao opposite ChiChi, who plays a divorce lawyer in Rumi Jaffery’s second directorial venture.
