Jackson Introduced Himself To Hrithik As : “Hi! My Name Is Michael”

But our desi actor Hrithik Roshan’s chance meeting with the music legend shows the lesser known and even lesser acknowledged humble side of Michael Jackson. Not many know but Hrithik had met Michael Jackson while he was shooting in Los Angeles for his film ‘Kites’ last year. It so happened that the actor was shooting at the same location where Jackson was scheduled to shoot.

Story goes that Hrithik was in his make up van when Jackson’s bodyguard walked in. A puzzled Hrithik questioned the guards and was informed that Jackson had come to inspect the location of his shoot, which was scheduled the following day. The very next moment Jackson, who wanted to see shooting of a Bollywood film, walked in and he humbly introduced himself as he said, “Hi, my name is Michael”.

The entire team was pleasantly taken aback by Jackson’s modest gesture. Confirming the news a source told a news daily, “It was funny to see someone like him who the whole world knows introducing himself. Jackson and Hrithik spoke for a short time and then the singer left”. Talking about the incident Hrithik said, “I’ve been a huge Jackson fan since childhood. So dad requested the mansion owner that we’d like to come over and meet Jackson. Instead, he turned up in the room to meet us. That meeting is etched in my memory.” Source
