Shahrukh’s Billu Barber Faces Problems From The Barbers
Beauty Parlour and Salon associations are up in arms over the Shah Rukh Khan’s must awaited movie Billu Barber’s title. They find the use of the word ‘barber’ objectionable.
Shah Rukh who has produced the film had tied up with over 500 ‘barber’ shops across Mumbai. He sent them posters cassettes and CDs of the film to be displayed at their shops. But now since it is too late to change the title, Shah Rukh is trying to pull out the word ‘barber’ from as many pre-release promotional campaigns as possible.
“The film is only four days away but we’ll try and remove it so that their sentiments are not hurt. I still don’t understand the reasoning but as the association was very kind and sweet to us we said we’ll try removing it from the posters and all the marketing part of it. But what has gone out has unfortunately gone out,” Shah Rukh told reporters. The film will hit the theatres on February 13. Source
