Kareena Kapoor – In The List Of Top 10 Youth Icons

The year 2008 belonged to Kareena Kapoor as a fashion diva as well as an established actress with her breathtaking performance in JAB WE MET. And now for the year 2009, she has been voted as the only actress who has been able to make it up in the list of Top 10 YOUTH ICONS.

Reportedly, a survey conducted by a reputed newspaper, amongst youth between the ages 18 and 25, across 10 major cities, Kareena Kapoor was the only actress whose name has been listed in the top 10 youth icons. The list includes Shahrukh Khan, Dhoni, Aamir Khan, Rahul Gandhi, and others. On the number 1 position were the NSG commandos.

This year she has four top notch releases. “There’s KAMBAKKTH ISHQ, MAIN AUR MRS KHANNA, Karan Johar’s untitled film and 3 IDIOTS. In each of these films Kareena’s characters are as different as chalk and cheese. The roles bring out the best of the various facets of Kareena’s personality. And it won’t be surprising to watch Kareena get away with the maximum awards this year.” said the source.

She is already in the news for her special number in Shahrukh Kan’s Red Chillies production’s forthcoming film BILLU BARBER’s song ‘Mar jani, mar jani’.
