Akshay Kumar’s Generosity Towards Aamir Khan At The Screen Awards

Akshay Kumar whose latest film, Chandni Chowk To China releases tomorrow, refused to accept the Star Screen Award for most popular actor on Wednesday night. The reason? He says he doesn’t deserve it.

“It is Aamir Khan who deserves this award,” Akshay said.

A source said Akshay did not accept the award because he had recently seen Aamir Khan in Ghajini and felt that Aamir’s role was fantastic.

Ghajini managed to do a business of more than Rs 200 crore compared to Singh is Kinng’s Rs 125 crore.

“I will request Aamir to accept this award instead of me,” Akshay added.

Given Aamir’s aversion to award shows, it would be interesting to see if the actor will accept the award. Source
