Asin Thottumkal is a very excited girl these days to have worked with Aamir Khan in Ghajini. Here is an interview with the actress.
Q: Asin, you are the only common factor in both the original Tamil film and the Hindi remake of Ghajini, so how was it shooting the same film twice?
Asin : The two movies are pretty much similar because the basic story remains the same. My character remains completely untouched, Kalpana is Kalpana in both the Tamil and Hindi version except that the movie is now in Hindi and the character is now set in Mumbai. The film yes (changes have been made) there is a tweak in the climax and the action sequences have been treated in a different way in comparison to the Tamil and it should be better for the wider audience.
Q: So, to make your debut in Bollywood opposite Aamir Khan was it a privilege?
Asin : Oh, completely a dream come true.
Q: There were rumours that you and Jiya Khan were not looking eye to eye because she was upset that you are hogging all the limelight, so is that true?
Asin : No, it is completely false. I don’t know how such things arrive. This is not even half true because we don’t share screen space at all in the movie.
Q: First Aamir and then Salman, your next film is London Dreams with Salman and Ajay and you have recently returned shooting from Paris and London, so what was the experience like?
Asin : Good fun, because the whole team is very exciting. Besides there is Salman, Ajay and I and other two boys; we all form the London dream band, so it basically revolves around that and we are all headed by this wonderful director Vipul Shah. It was a complete pleasure to work with him. Source
