Bipasha Basu was caught with an interview :
You’ve were selected as Asia’s sexiest woman.
Yes and I’m proud of it. I read a journalist taunting me about how serious I tried to sound about being chosen the sexiest woman in Asia. I’d just like see how she’d react if she got the same title. I’m sure any man or woman would be flattered being called the sexiest. I don’t see why I’ve to justify myself for being happy about being called sexy. I feel elated about it. You can’t take it away.
How do you define sexy?
It’s defined differently from person to person. Those who know me know I’m a very down-to-earth girl with no pretensions to being a diva. For me being sexy is an amalgamation of many factors. Definitely a good physique and a Perfect-10 for health. A good face helps. But confidence, poise and intelligence are musts. Just a body won’t do.
How do you fob off unwanted attention?
I’ve no time or opportunity to think about unwanted attention. Most of the day I’m at work. Besides sets the only place I go to is the gym. Otherwise I enjoy being at home. I may be a very sexy person. But I lead a very boring life. More

Bollywood’s bombshell Bipasha Basu’s new film ‘Pankh’ is about a 20-year-old boy, Jerry, who is confused about his identity – whether he’s a boy or a girl, a man or eunuch. Since, he used to be a famous child artiste, cross-dressed by his mother as a girl.
Bipasha’s character is an imaginary one, who exists in this boy’s thoughts as a fantasy. The film deals with the psychological consequences of the situation faced by a child artiste who acts as a girl in films.
Bipasha’s look for this movie is created by Rocky S and Gavin Miguel. Sudipto, the director wanted Bipasha to look like Sophia Loren and Liza Minelli from ‘Cabaret’ in a sizzling song ‘Jiya Jala Na’ sung by Sunidhi Chouhan.
In this song Bipasha tries to seduce Jerry. She causes a constant disturbance in Jerry’s mind. His only relief is when he sexually fantasizes about Bips. The director reveals that Bips has a different look in every scene of the flick, as she is a non-existent character. It is learnt that Bipasha agreed to do the film after just a single-line narration. And she is believed to have given a terrific performance, if the director’s comments are to go by. Source

If Anamika Khanna got Sonam Kapoor, Manav Gangwani, Karisma Kapoor and Ritu Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, then it was left to couturier Tarun Tahiliani to present the hot and sultry Shilpa Shetty as his showstopper at the HDIL India Couture Week at Grand Hyatt on Saturday.
Good thing Shilpa’s beau Raj Kundra was sitting among the front benchers along with sister Shamita, for Tarun dressed up Shilpa as a bride, and there must not have been a man there in the audience (single and married) who would not have wanted to tie the knot with the gorgeous actress.
She took the ramp with a confident stride, her head held high, wearing a coy smile along with a majestic red-gold brocade and zardozi lehenga studded with semi-precious stones. That, and the beautifully studded neckpiece, made Shilpa look every inch the breathtaking bride. Tarun’s collection of 77 garments opened to an over-packed show area. Describing the couture line, Shilpa gushed, “I loved the stuff and I felt like a runway bride.” Source

Aishwarya Rai is in Peru giving all she’s got to her part as Rajnikant’s love interest in Shankar’s Tamil film, Robot. After that, Ash will return to the country and get busy with Mani Ratnam’s next film, Raavan. The film is a sensuous contemporary Hindi take on the Ramayana, in which Aishwarya will be playing a classical singer for the first time in her career. And there will be no half-measures for Aishwarya.
A source says, “Aishwarya will be learning classical singing for this role. Ideally, she’d like to sing all her songs in Raavan, herself. She’s a very good singer in real life. But not good enough to sing classical songs on screen with aplomb. So, like Shabana Azmi in Morning Raga Aishwarya intends to take lessons in how to look convincing as a singer. She’ll be regularly taking lessons in classical singing from a guru.”
“She wants to make sure she doesn’t goof up in the scenes in which she’ll be singing on screen,” adds the source. Not just that, since Aishwarya’s mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan had played a singer in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Abhimaan, Aishwarya also plans to watch the film to get it right. Source

Though he may have made his debut with a chocolate boy image but in his forthcoming film ‘Kidnap’ which is produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd Imran Khan plays a macho and rugged character in which he has a scene where he keeps jabbing a knife between Minissha’s fingers!
Imran was required to use a fake knife for the shots. But for the close-ups, the director Sanjay Gadhvi preferred the real knife as it would look authentic! One can expect Imran to get goose pimples at the thought of jabbing a real knife with such continuity between Minissha’s fingers.
But it looks like Imran is quite the pro at it! He seems to have mastered the art when he was at boarding school and confesses to love doing it!!!
He says, “I love doing that and if you look at my hand closely, I still have a few scars of the days when I used to do it.”
Commenting on the scene, Minissha says, “I was terrified. We had to use a real knife as it was a close up. Imran had assured me that I was in safe hands since he had done this kind of thing with friends while growing up. I was genuinely on the verge of being knifed during the take and I didn’t have to move at all. But true to his word, Imran was a master at this and I got to see another day with all my fingers intact!” Source

Sonal Chauhan is obsessed of the two Khans in the bollywood - Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. Sonal admits that when it comes to the looks department nobody can beat Sallu at it.
“Salman Khan is the best looking man in the film industry. There’s something special about him. I love the rawness that he carries with himself.”
But when it comes to acting talent and handling a career intelligently, Sonal feels Aamir Khan is an ace.
“Aamir Khan is the most talented actor in the film industry. Coupled with hardwork and luck, Aamir has reached great heights. He is someone aspiring actors can look upto. He is also handled his career with perfect acumen.” Source

Kareena Kapoor has a well-kept secret. The actress who is planning to start a yoga school at some point, is also planning to build a school for underprivileged and handicapped children, along with her sister Karisma.
When asked, the actress reluctantly said, “I am uncomfortable talking about such things. I feel it’s best to talk when the time is right and they happen. Lolo and I have plans some of building a school for underprivileged and handicapped children. We have such schools all over but we need to have specially equipped ones with people fully qualified to take care of the children and their special needs. It’s been a dream for both of us to have such a school but these are plans which will take shape much later — all in good time.”
Kareena is currently shooting in Ladakh and is having a blast. “Ladakhi food is delicious and healthy as it’s made with natural products. I am having a hard time resisting it. Since I am a vegetarian, the thukpa (a thick soup with vegetables), mok-moks (steamed dumplings stuffed with vegetables and accompanied by a spicy chili sauce) and skyu (Tsampa or wheat flour dumplings cooked with vegetables) are dishes I have been eating a lot. In fact, when my 3 Idiots director Raju (Hirani) first saw me he said I need to put on weight so he keeps urging me to eat.” Source

Things are not in favour of Rakesh Roshan’s Kites in New Mexico. The producer upset cinematographer Bobby Singh so much that the he stormed out of the under-production film. Kites, being directed by Anurag Basu stars Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori. It was the director who brought the cinematographer on board. They’d worked together in the past in Metro, Woh Lamhe and Gangster. And Roshan agreed to have him on board after seeing his work.
According to a reliable source, “Bobby and Anurag are friends, besides being a great team. Basu appreciates Bobby’s work and gives him a free hand. But Roshan had his own ideas of how the film should look. He didn’t agree with Bobby’s style and would interfere in camera angles and light shots etc. Initially Bobby kept quiet as Rakesh is a senior filmmaker and creative differences happen on every set. But as the days went by, Bobby felt his work as a cinematographer was increasingly getting undermined.” More
