Abhishek Defends Aishwarya

The much talked film of 2008 is no where in the picture. Is this okay ? The Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra starrer Drona seems to have just vanished from the scene. The movie was a hot topic of discussion even before Sarkar Raj came into the existence. Now, Sarkar Raj has released with its stars busy receiving accolades and Drona is still nowhere in the picture.
Buzz was that, Aishwarya Rai wanted Sarkar Raaj to release before Drona and hence the delay. However, at the IIFA weekend, Abhishek broke his silence over the delay of the mega budget film.

Apparently, Abhishek’s family alliance wasn’t the reason for the indefinite delay after all. Abhishek said, “We completed shooting Drona in December last year. It’s an effects-heavy film. There are more than 6000 special-effect shots in it and it consumes a lot of time. It’s a slow process. As of now, the film is slated to release by October this year. It’s in post production right now.” So, Aishwarya needn’t be dragged into this one! All we can say is that Aish, you’ve got a protective husband. Source
