Differences seem to have cropped up between the blue-eyed girl from the Balaji camp. Rumours of a clash between Ekta Kapoor and Prachi Desai are spreading. Then came reports of Prachi vowing to never work in Balaji’s Kasam Se, her launch vehicle that brought her to the limelight.

According to reports, all is not well between Ekta and Prachi. Recently, the two were having lunch together with a bunch of common friends and Ekta abruptly walked off. Prachi tried to cajole her back. However, ask Prachi to throw some light on the incident, and she acts ignorant. “I don’t know anything about it. Rakhi Sawant’s arch rival and Bollywood’s very own item girl, Kashmira Shah is all set for Hollywood. Reports say the dusky dame has been approached by quite a few Hollywood agencies and has agreed to be part of two movies so far. While Kashmira may not have established herself in Bollywood, looks like she is all set to compete with the Bollywood brigade in Hollywood.
Kash said, “I have done two films there, both interesting projects. In one, the actor is the male lead from Sex And The City.” She added, “I also have a film with Bruce Willis in it.” Kashmira also seems quite confident of her stint in Hollywood. “My part will be bigger than Mallika’s nine minutes of fame. You will not miss it.” We wonder what Miss Sherawat would say to that.

Nisha Rawal - a known face in the modelling world.

But acting is a different ball game altogether, says model Nisha Rawal. All set to make her Bollywood debut this month, Nisha means business. “The title’s spelt Hastey Hastey and not Haste Haste,” she says. Nisha plays a bubbly Columbia University student in the film. Does that mean she speaks with an American accent in it? “The film caters to the Indian market. So my character doesn’t really have an American accent. But the look has been worked on. So the character will look convincing,” she says.

She’s seen the trials of the film and is happy. “Of course, I could’ve done better. But that’s a feeling every actor has after watching himself on screen,” states Nisha.
In retrospect, does she regret not choosing a big banner to launch her? “Behind every actor there’s a human being who has his or her own choices. I’ll do big banner films too. But I’m more particular about how the film portrays me. I won’t do a film like Neil ’n’ Nikki — wear those kind of clothes and speak that language, even if it’s a big banner film,” she says.
