In a chat with TIMES NOW Entertainment Editor Karishma Upadhyay, Priyanka Chopra tells us why she’s going to kill Farhan Akhtar over Don 2.

Karishma: You’re all set to give tips for men to dress well. What are your tips?
Priyanka: Who else to tell a man how to dress better than a woman? Eventually they dress for you. I love men in suits; they look their best in suits when they’re impeccably dressed, well manicured, well turned out, intelligent looking guys. I think all men should dress like that to impress the women in their lives. I always try for the best and I will not settle for anything less.

Karishma: You’ve almost always been very well dressed, but there have been a couple of bloopers. How do you look back at them?
Priyanka: I think everybody does. You can’t always be impeccably dressed and you don’t always have a great day. But it’s a part of learning and everything has been trial and error for me. I think people forgive you for those things.

Karishma: The other things people remember you for are the action sequences. Has it been fun fighting Shah Rukh Khan and being a bodyguard to Abhishek Bachchan? More

It was a starry Saturday at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, where the T20 international cricket match was held in the evening.

No, it wasn’t the presence of Indian and Australian cricket stars that made the difference; it was the glam-n-glitz presence of King Khan and many more which ensured that the spotlights were not just on the likes of Dhoni, Yuvraj and Ponting.

While Shahrukh Khan watched the entire match from the VIP stands, he was also accompanied by his OM SHANTI OM co-star Deepika Padukone along with wife Gauri Khan. Though the India-Pakistan Finals in South Africa last month had seen in cheering aloud from the stands, at Mumbai he was content waving at his fans everytime the camera focused on him and beamed the images at the big screen.

Apart from Shahrukh, Gauri and Deepika, even Suneil Shetty, an avid cricket follower, is said to have stepped into the stadium to see the match. Other VIPs who enjoyed the match along with Bollywood celebrities were Rahul Gandhi and his brother-in-law Robert Vadra

On October 16 a special preview of the keenly awaited romantic comedy, JAB WE MET was organized in Mumbai. Shahid Kapoor attended with his parents, Pankaj Kapoor and Supriya Pathak, who thoroughly enjoyed the film.

Kareena Kapoor, not surprisingly, decided to give the trial a miss (presumably to avoid any awkwardness) and is likely to watch the film at another pre-release trial.

Inside reports of those that saw the film have been extremely positive. In fact the film has already been passed by the Indian censors with a clear “U” certificate. The UK censors who have also seen the film have approved it with a clear “PG” cert.

We are informed that the running time of JAB WE MET, releasing worldwide on October 26, is 2 hours 22 minutes.

Writer and filmmaker Mansoor Khan who retired from Bollywood is all set to make his comeback. Mansoor, who once launched his cousin brother Aamir Khan, has returned to Bollywood as producer to launch his nephew in a big way.  
Mansoor is the co producer of Aamir Khan’s forthcoming film Jaane Tu Ya Jane Na which will also mark known-writer Abbas Tyrewala’s directorial debut. According to a close friend of Mansoor Khan, “Mansoor decided to quit filmmaking after Josh . He was away from the world, and shifted base to Ooty for several years. Mansoor decided to make come back when he came to know that his cousin Nauzhat’s son Imraan is making his debut.”  

Jane Tu Ya Jane Na was initially supposed to be produced by Jhamu Sughand but things didn’t fall into place and Aamir came to rescue of his nephew’s debut project. Himesh Reshammiya, who was initially to compose music for the film was replaced by AR Rahman, Aamir’favourite.  

Manjari who is making her debut in Vikram Bhatt’s Mumbai Salsa , will also be a part of this one. About her co-actor and Aamir’s nephew, she says, “I mraan has his own acting style but yes he believes in the detailing of his character just like his uncle Aamir Khan. More

New Delhi, Oct 20: Oozing dollops of confidence, Bollywood actress Vidya Balan says that she is an eternal optimist whose fan following always brings a smile on her face.

“There are times when you feel low. However I am an optimist and my fans give me a high. They bring a smile on my face and then I forget all the bad times,” she said.

“I am one of those lucky ones who have the opportunity to do what they love the most…. to act. And when your fans appreciate your work, what else can one ask for?”

“Nobody has ever asked me to lose weight. Earlier I was focusing only on getting the character right, on-screen. But lately I realised that actors owe a responsibility to look good in every character they play,” Vidya told agencies.

The svelte actress, also sporting a new haircut these days, said her new look is all for her upcoming film “Luck Charms”. More

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is flying high ever since the success of Partner and now film producers and directors are flocking to work with him.

According to sources, Salman has been offered a whopping Rs.12 crores for a film with Shree Ashtavinayak and several other perks along with the film.

Shree Ashtavinayak is extremely upbeat to get Salman on board for their film and they are going all out to please the actor. They have met most of his demands. Sources claim that apart from the hefty Rs.12 crores remuneration, Salman has also been offered a 30 percent stake in the film after its release.

Director Priyadarshan has written a brilliant script which Shree Ashtavinayak will produce and they want Salman to be a part of this film. The planning for the film has just begun, and since it is a big budget film, a lot of planning is required and hence the film will begin only somewhere in 2009. More

All were shocked when Vipul Shah managed to get the alleged rivals Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar together for his film Singh Is Kinng . It may have been a casting coup of sorts, if their rivalry was for real. But Akshay didn’t think there was even a spark of truth in this tittle-tattle. “If we really didn’t get along, then why should he co-produce a film like Bhagam Bhaag , or even cast me in it? There’s no problem between us.” However, the majority just don’t seem to believe this. And rumours of their enmity are still rife.

It isn’t for nothing that Priyanka calls herself a klutz. After injuring herself doing an intricate stunt for Drona in Mumbai, Priyanka has disregarded the doctors’ diktat and done it again.

“The doctors had told me to let the pulled muscle in my abs heal for at least six weeks. But last week I was doing a stunt scene here in Namibia, the abs got wounded again. I can’t do anything about it. Because the action scenes scheduled for Namibia have to be shot, come what may.”

Priyanka is on pain killers and injections even as she continues to shoot her scenes. “Fortunately my mother is with me and she’s looking after me quite well. Her being a doctor helps. I’ve no choice but to do my stunts through the injury. Once I get back to Mumbai I can let it heal. More

When asked about the meaning of the new terminology coined by him ‘Khiska Cinema’, tongue firmly in cheek, Vivek said:”I like playing kishka hua characters i.e different characters. I like playing characters that are slightly off, slightly different and not making the same normal choices of characters because I think, I am that way in real life too. I don’t make normal choices in life, as normal is very boring.”

When probed further about the kind khiska stuff he has indulged in so far, he averred:”I am known to be a pretty crazy guy. I party pretty hard, I work pretty hard and I do lot of things in extremes. I am a pretty mad person and believe in living in life to the fullest. My friends know me well and always keep on throwing some challenge or the other.” More

So much has been written and talked about Kareena Kapoor. She deserves it all for being a wonderful actress, but this time, everyone is trying to intrude into her personal life. The questions that keep rumourmongers engaged all these days are whether she is still seeing Shahid Kapoor, her boyfriend of over four years or whether she has moved on to Saif Ali Khan. She has been spotted going out with Saif more than often these days. She did admitted that she share great chemistry with Saif but refused to go further. She said that he is a great co-star and a friend, and added that she came to know him really well during the shooting of Tashan. She sees nothing wrong in going out together.

But, what about the incident in a restaurant in Delhi, where the photographer, who was taking photos of her with Saif, was asked to delete? She said that nothing ugly could happen at the discotheque because her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor was around. She added that Sanjay was upset with the photographer, as they should have been given privacy.
