He’s not known as the King Khan for nothing. He does behave like a real King when the need arises. We have this real life incident where SRK came forward to help a 10 year old Kashmiri refugee Pandit boy. Ashoke Pandit, filmmaker and a known fighter for the Pandits’ cause, came across this boy who was suffering from the life threatening disease and he SMSed all his friends including SRK to come forward and help the boy. “Within minutes, SRK called me up and enquired about the boy. He told me, ‘Just let me know what I can do and I will get it done for the boy.’ The boy is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Vellore and if the need arises for further treatment, SRK will take over and finance his whole treatment. We are working towards the modalities,” says a grateful Ashoke.
