Kareena Kapoor may not have got to dance to Prabhu Deva’s steps in Rowdy Rathore but she need not worry — Prabhu Deva has zeroed in on the actress for next film with Salman Khan.

Kareena, who recently shot for a cameo appearance in a song and dance number for Rowdy Rathore, had earlier turned down invitations for guest appearances for item songs. She had even turned down a song in dear friend Karan Johar’s film Agneepath, and made a policy decision to not do guest appearances or item songs.

The temptation here was the magical Prabhu Deva. Kareena was last choreographed by the ace dancer in Khushi, her 2004 film.

Says a source, “Kareena gladly agreed to do a song and dance in Rowdy Rathore because of Prabhu Deva. But she got to know that her number was going to be choreographed not by Prabhu but Bosco-Caesar. Not that she created any fuss but it was a disappointment.” More

The Bollywood grapevine is buzzing with rumours about Amitabh Bachchan shooting for his next film, towards the end of April. Industry sources reveal that the actor could feature in a song in Ajay Devgn’s next release, also featuring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. The 69-year-old legend had been resting after two abdominal surgeries earlier this February and recently returned to face the camera for a promo of the upcoming Indian Premiere League.

According to our source, director Rohit Shetty has five days of shoot left, including a song. “The song features all the principal actors — Ajay Devgn, Abhishek, Asin Thottumukal and Prachi Desai. Someone suggested getting Amitji to also feature in this song, as it’s a very lively and foot tapping number. Someone else in the team also suggested getting the actor to introduce the film to the audience,” said our source. More

Strong buzz doing the rounds is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to make a big comeback in a movie opposite Shahrukh Khan.

The movie is said to be directed by Sriram Raghavan and is titled ‘Happy Birthday’. Initially, the movie was planned keeping Aishwarya and John Abraham in mind. However, the project could not materialize back then.

Now that his latest movie, Agent Vinod is all set for a release next month, Raghavan is now focusing on ‘Happy Birthday’. The movie might roll in November 2012.

Director Anil Sharma is all set to announce his next movie with all the three Deols. After working with Sunny Deol in GADAR and then with the Deol trio in APNE, the director has yet again roped in actor Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Dharmendra in a film which is supposedly titled as SINGH SAHEB THE GREAT.

According to a reports, Sharma was initially working on a 3D film venture – MASTERS (which was again with the Deols). However, he decided to start with SINGH SAHEB THE GREAT before that.

Writer Shaktiman Talwar, who wrote GADAR  with Sharma, has penned the script of this film as well. Sharma brought Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby together on screen in his earlier movie APNE. Source

In the press meet held for the announcement of the film, Sonakshi Sinha made a grand entry in an old red car dressed from head to toe in traditional Bengali attire looking breath takingly beautiful! Ranveer Singh rode in full style on a bike wearing a brown leather jacket and a white tee shirt with suspenders looking all like a Bengali young man from the 50′s.Their entry took everyone gathered around by storm.

Sonakshi, who arrived in a red car at the venue of the press conference said, ‘This is the most challenging role for me. I am looking all forward to start shooting and working with Ranveer.’

When asked about her Bengali look in the film, the gorgeous actress said, ‘I love to dress Indian which makes me a typical Hindi film heroine. LOOTERA will give me an opportunity to dress like original and authentic Bengali lady. I have this authentic Bengali look of the 1950′s era.
