Celebrities, the world-over often undergo some or the other surgery in order to enhance their looks. However, there are some who go under the knife for health issues as well. Actor Imran Khan belongs to the latter category. The actor has been busy shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s next Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola opposite Anushka Sharma.
However, in the meantime he had to undergo a surgery at a city hospital to get two cysts removed. There was one cyst on his head and another on his arm. They were surgically removed from his body by a reputed surgeon Dr. Anil Tibrewala. Although cysts are not dangerous in anyway, they can cause a lot of pain. Imran was facing problems while sleeping and combing his hair, thus got it treated. Apparently, the cysts were formed owing to a sebaceous gland problem. Source

Rahul Kapoor (Imran Khan) lives to please his parents. Riana Braganza (Kareena Kapoor) has dumped six boyfriends and lives life on her own terms. They meet in Vegas but the movie is not about What happened in Vegas.
Instead, Imran Khan as the vulnerable Rahul evolves in front of your eyes. From uptight to edgy, he grows from boy to man.
Kareena takes up from where she left off in Jab We Met. I thought this was better. She adds just the right amount of pep to Riana Braganza. Rahul and Riana don’t walk off into the sunshine. The movie has a surprising climax.
Amit Trivedi, the young music director comes with an impressive record. You’ll remember him for the tracks from Dev D which earned him the National Film Award for Best Music Direction or for Aisha. My favourite is Iktaara from Wake Up Sid. More
Karan Johar is returning this week to woo the box office with a romantic comedy which coincides with the Valentine’s Day revelries. He has teamed up with the fresh pair of Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor to attract the audiences.
Directed by debutant Shakun Batra, the film’s cast has Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah and Ram Kapoor and it will be released on 1,200 screens worldwide. It is made at an approximate budget of Rs.25-30 crore.
In “Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na”, Ratna had played Imran’s mother, but her character in the new film is a complete contrast. More
Promos of EK MAIN AUR EKK TU are on-air and it’s obvious that the film has been designed as a romcom. Though, one may wonder whether the film is pretty much a ‘template’ affair where the film begins with fun, then there is drama and emotional moments and eventually it is all a happy ending. With the genre catching heat in Bollywood since last few years, can we expect first time director Shakun Batra to deliver something different?
The first time director Shakun Batra says, ”See, every genre has certain conventions to be followed, whether it is a thriller, drama, action or romcom. A genre comes with its own grammar and we to play around with the script and tweak the rules while not allowing the genre to go haywire. Of course in a romcom you would have a boy and girl falling in love followed by banter. It is my job as a story teller to play with the narrative characters.” More
It is a known fact that Imran Khan has played an urban character way too often in recent times, be it MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN, I HATE LUV STORYS, BREAK KE BAAD or DELHI BELLY. Now that the promos of EK MAIN AUR EKK TU are on, it is yet again visible that Imran is getting into the urban milieu all over again. In that case has it been ensured that the actor comes across as a different character in this newest outing produced by Karan Johar?
Shakun Batra, the film’s director, defends, “There is a difference. In DELHI BELLY he was someone who was staying in a small house and didn’t mind being messy. On the other hand his background is very different in EK MAIN AUR EKK TU as here he is someone who is quite obsessive about his surroundings. He is bit stiff in the film and that brings in a different arc to his performance when compared to a DELHI BELLY where he was a little goofy. Even in I HATE LUV STORYS and MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN, he was playing this cool guy whereas in EK MAIN AUR EKK TU, he is slightly reserved and a typical South Bombay guy.” More
He will be seen romancing Kareena Kapoor in Karan Johar’s next ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ and Bollywood actor Imran Khan says they look great together on screen.
In his seven films so far, the 28-year-old actor has worked with seven different actresses – Genelia D’Souza, Minnisha Lamba, Shruti Hassan, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor.
Imran says he is excited about his unusual pairing with Kareena, who is much senior to him in the industry.
First Look: Kareena, Imran’s ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’
“I have seen the film and so I can say that Kareena and I look great together. It was amazing to work with her because she is a great actor. The film is good, the script is good and I hope the audience will like it,” Imran said. More
Imran Khan has already admitted Kareena Kapoor is his favourite actress. Working with her in romantic comedy “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu” has only strengthened his belief.
“She is like a light bulb. The second the director says ‘action’, this light comes up and you can’t take your eyes off her. She is magic,” Imran said on the sidelines of an event here.
Imran’s crackling chemistry with Kareena in the promos of “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu” is there for all to see. In fact, he was so much in awe of the 31-year-old stunner that he ended up taking almost 100 pictures of Kareena during the film shoot. Producer Karan Johar has suggested he exhibit the pictures soon. More

In a press statement, Imran said ‘We were shooting around this time last year and the place has a fantastic feel and vibe to it.’ Imran stayed back a week after the shoot, to explore every nook and corner of Vegas. Keen on knowing about the city, Imran went beyond the usual tourist hangouts to get a proper Vegas feel.

Kareena is ending the year with a blockbuster (BODYGUARD) and a hit (RA.ONE). Even though the Number One crown is pretty much sitting right on her head, Kareena has always maintained that the number game doesn’t quite matter for her. Still, in Bollywood where money does all the talking, does she still stick to her stand that being acknowledged as a commercially viable superstar doesn’t matter?
‘No of course it does matter,’ Kareena calls spade a spade here, ‘After all, in this industry you are as good as your last film. Eventually it is all about the commercial viability of the stars. Bollywood is about entertainment; this is what that sells here and we can’t change that. In fact we must not try to change that and balance it all. This is what I have and will always believe in; one needs to play the balancing act. I may try to please everyone but at the end of it all, basically I have to entertain my fans. I can and should never forget that basic aspect of my journey as an actress.’ More
It is a known fact that Bollywood and Censor Board share a love-hate relationship. Sometimes Bollywood is not okay with Censor Board norms then sometimes Censor Board have problems with Bollywood films.
Now Karan Johar’s upcoming film EK MAIN AUR EKK TU has come under the watchful eyes of Censor Board. Since Kjo’s film uses the word ‘Sex’, the highly vigilant Censor board objecting to it has asked the filmmaker to remove the word from the trailer in order to procure a U-certificate.
However, when probed about Censor Board’s decision Karan Johar, unlike other filmmakers, took it lightly and quite sarcastically expressed his annoyance towards it. More
