She has undoubtedly the hottest curves in B-town. Her decade long affair with Bollywood has been a mix of all kinds of genres. She has witnessed the highs and lows of being the most sought after actress in town. Having been there and done that, the actress still harbors regret. A regret she cannot come to terms with.
Despite having three consecutive flops-DUM MAARO DUM, PLAYERS and JODI BREAKERS, Bipasha is working hard to put things together and give a fitting reply to her critics. Though Bips has films like SINGULARITY, RACE 2 and RAAZ 3 in her kitty, the actress regrets not having worked with Shahrukh Khan so far.
Speaking about it, Bipasha says, ”There are a lot of people who I want to work with. But I really want to work with Shahrukh. I hope it happens soon. It is my biggest regret so far that I have not been able to pair with him in any film in the last 10 years of my career.”
While Bipasha is making all efforts to pair up with SRK, let’s hope King Khan does not miss the die-hard fan in her this time around. Source
Actress Bipasha Basu is annoyed with reports that she will not work with her Jodi Breakers co-star R Madhavan again as the film failed to make money at the box office.
The rom-com which saw the duo paired on the big-screen for the first time failed to impress the audience.
“I detest vicious Gossip!@ActorMadhavan is one of my most fav costars n I would love to wrk with him on a Film which v both like n suit! Power of writing should not be misused to that extent to create gossip which makes ppl sound shallow n nasty!Even if its a Tabloid news! (sic),” Bipasha wrote on Twitter.
Madhavan gave a consoling response to Bipasha saying, “Heyy.. Of course we will. Don’t worry abt what these losers say. When has it ever mattered.. Yenjooy..have a wonderful day (sic).” More
Much has been spoken by Bipasha Basu and Madhavan about how their ‘jodi’ is making waves, their chemistry is the selling point of JODI BREAKERS and how the leading lady ‘chased’ the script as she found it interesting enough. However this is the story which the makers wanted to tell. The untold twist in the tale is that before the film went on floors, Madhavan wasn’t too sure about Bipasha featuring as his co-star for this film.
“Since the time film’s promotion kick-started, the actors have been singing praises of each other. It appears as if they were in complete synch with each other from the day one. However there is a lot that happened behind the scenes,” says a source. More

The song ‘Bipasha‘ is all over the music channels and the lady-at-the-hot-seat, Bipasha Basu, is heard claiming that she was a little jittery before consenting to jive to a song that was designed on her personality. However makers of JODI BREAKERS have spilled the beans and declared that even though the song was composed later in the day, a slot was reserved for it from the very beginning.
Says director Ashwini Chaudhary, “See, audience have certain expectations from Bipasha and you can’t deny them the joy of seeing her in the avatar they like to see her in the most. They want to see her as a glamorous woman. Thankfully the character of Sonia that she plays in the film is also that of a modern urban girl from today’s time. Hence there wasn’t much that we have to add to that since it would anyways have suited Bipasha. However we did underline that a little and added in further bits so that her presence in the film could be further justified.”
One such step in this direction was to add the song ‘Bipasha’ which is fast seeing an upwards movement in the popularity charts and also helping in raising the film’s stocks further. More
After “Raaz” and “Raaz 2, Mahesh Bhatt is looking forward to the release of the third part of the horror film and is confident that it will set the cash registers ringing.
“Today, a decade ago ‘Raaz’ hit the silver screen and created history. Today, we shoot the interval scene of ‘Raaz 3. This film is a blockbuster,” the 63-year-old tweeted.
The movie stars Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez along with Bipasha Basu, who is making a comeback in the Bhatt camp after a long gap. Source
Bipasha Basu’s ‘jodi’ with Madhavan is indeed looking good in JODI BREAKERS and while the ‘unconventional pairing’ has been hailed so far on the basis of promos, one also can’t ignore the fact that she is one of the very few actresses in the top rung who hasn’t been paired with the top three Khans (Aamir, Salman and Shahrukh) so far.
”Except for NOENTRY where Salman Khan played her friend, she has never shared screen space with him. Even with Shahrukh Khan, she only did a blink-and-you-would-miss appearance in RAB NE BANA DI JODI for the song ‘Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte’. As for Aamir Khan, the two have never been seen together in a film. Call it a coincidence but somehow there was never a project conceived where the makers could imagine Bipasha along with a Khan,” says a source. More
Bipasha Basu, who turned 33 on Saturday, was joyous and in a groovy mood as she celebrated her birthday with family members and close pals at her residence. But, the actress’ happiness did not last for long. A video that contained private moments of her birthday party was leaked online.
The video has Bipasha dancing crazily with some girls in her apartment’s bathroom. Bollywood actors Abhay Deol, Milind Soman and Sikander Kher are also seen in a playful mood at the party. Bipasha cuts her birthday cake which had fancy candles on it and even poses for a photograph with Aftab Shivdasani.
As soon as Bips got to know that such a video has been leaked, she expressed her displeasure on twitter, ”I’m still in shock that my privacy has been invaded! These were private moments from my birthday that were leaked and I am very upset.” More
A general assumption in Bollywood is that films that release in January are not blockbuster hits. But, NO ONE KILLED JESSICA came in with a bang in January 2011 and broke the conventional January curse. The Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan film, which had no male superstar, grossed nearly Rs. 30.220 crore.
Now the Abbas – Mastan film PLAYERS, which is an official remake of THE ITALIAN JOB, is releasing on January 6, 2012. Stupendous action stunts, glamorous scenes and more importantly the Abbas – Mastan style thriller stand as the ultra selling points of the film. Moreover, the promotional events have also created a certain amount of buzz.
The multi-starrer film which casts Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bipasha Basu is expected to mint money. Source
After playing the anti- hero in Johnny Gaddaar and a grey character in 7 Khoon Maaf, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh will be once again seen playing a negative character in the upcoming heist thriller Players and the actor seemed quite kicked about being bad on screen.
Neil was quoted to have said, “The bad guy is in! The world today is cut out for the bad guy…and if that’s what women like, I shall give it to them. I want to play characters on screen that are completely in contrast to what I am off-screen. It’s a challenge because I awaken that side which is dormant and it gives my personality a complete flip.”
Neil also added that the performances of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in Don and Baazigar are a source of constant inspiration to him. Incidentally, SRK recently essayed the role of the criminal mastermind Don, which had been played by Amitabh Bachchan a few decades ago and Neil Nitin Mukesh was rumoured to have been finalised to essay the character of Khan in the Baazigar remake, though director duo Abbas-Mustan later denied the rumours. It is said that catfights are inevitable when two actresses work together in a film, but Bipasha Basu and Sonam Kapoor proved it wrong by bonding well on the sets of their forthcoming action thriller “Players”. Both shared a “talkative” equation while shooting.
“Something very similar between us is that we can’t keep our mouths shut. We just talk about ourselves. We are one of those girls who just want to talk about ourselves,” Sonam told reporters here Thursday.
Came Bipasha’s quick admission. “Abhishek (Bachchan) gets tired because we talk to each other and keep talking about ourselves.”
The actresses denied any catfights. “As you see we are not having any catfights, Abhishek told us we are not making enough news because we are not fighting!” said Bipasha.
Often referred to as “talkathon” by her friends, Bipasha is quick to admit Sonam takes the cake when it comes to yapping. More
Guess what is Bipasha Basu’s New Year resolution. Well, the sultry siren of Bollywood wants to be a harmless liar in 2012.
“I am going to lie a bit because sometimes it helps. I tried in 2011 but failed, so this time I am going to try to perfect it,” said the Bong beauty while in town on Monday to promote her upcoming release Player.
“I want to be a harmless liar,” said Bipasha as she interacted with the media at Cinemax, one of Kolkata’s multiplexes.
Bipasha is enthusiastic with PLAYER, an official remake of the Hollywood blockbuster THE ITALIAN JOB, for more than one reason.
The dusky diva said, “The biggest USP of the film is, it’s an Abbas-Mustan film. They make entertainment films and it’s a movie you can enjoy and have a blast.” More
