Aamir Khan Shoots With His 5 Months Old Son

Trust Aamir Khan to be naughty! The actor has shot a promo of his upcoming TV show Satyamev Jayate with son Azad Rao Khan without his wife Kiran Rao’s knowledge. It seems the cool dad is okay with his son facing the camera as Azad is barely five months old now.

While talking to a tabloid, the actor reveals that a promo of Satyamev Jayate features his son Azad, but that’s for family viewing only. Aamir’s wife Kiran Rao was already furious over using their Bandra residence for the shooting of the promos. Kiran also barred the makers from showing Azad’s nursery.

Aamir Khan says, “Half the time I shot the campaign, Azad was in my lap,” so when Kiran wasn’t around they shot a promo with Azad. Aamir adds, “At first, I told her (Kiran) that we shot a promo with him and it looked very good. Then I told her that I was kidding and we wouldn’t use it.” More

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ Is Looking To Break The Records Of ’3 Idiots’

Director Aditya Chopra is busy developing special marketing and promotional strategies to make his next film Ek Tha Tiger starring Salman Khan a huge success at the box office.

According to sources, Aditya Chopra wants his forthcoming venture with Salman Khan to be not only the actor’s biggest hit, but also surpass Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots at the box office. The filmmaker is, in fact, studying the success trends of both the actors and chalking out an appropriate strategy.

“Chopra scion is sparing no effort or cost to ensure that when the Kabir Khan directed film Ek Tha Tiger, also featuring Katrina Kaif, opens on Eid, it rakes in the highest collections ever. The idea is to not only surpass Bodyguard’s first day collections of Rs  20 crore, but also the opening day numbers of Rs 26 crore registered by Agneepath, if possible,” said a source.

“This is also why the makers will be releasing the film with a record number of prints in India and the overseas circuit,” the source added. More

How Aamir Khan Helped In Promoting ‘Hate Story’?

There is a reason why the makers of HATE STORY are not worried about the Censor issue even though thousands have inundated them with queries about ‘apprehension’ and ‘fears’ related to erotica and nudity factor even as the D-day is fast approaching. Instead, they can be heard making unabashed claims about the film pushing the envelope while also conveying the point as-is without any adulteration whatsoever.

Reason being that instead of lying low and pitching the movie any different from what it actually is, Vivek and Vikram have decided to take a leaf out of Aamir Khan’s book.

“DELHI BELLY is one film that gave me a lot of confidence,” confesses Vivek, “Aamir’s way of looking at films is very different and the way he marketed DELHI BELLY for what it is without faking anything gave me a lot of confidence. That made me realize that you can say and show anything provided that your characters are real. As long as you don’t get into fantastical region, people would be willing to hear out and see what you have to offer. This means that even though you may be working with largely newcomers, you would still find audience as long as product placement is right and your content is true to the subject.” More

Aamir Khan Speaks On His Latest Show ‘Satyamev Jayate’

”I cry quite easily.” The perfectionist Khan admitted this in a crowded press conference to launch the music video of the title song of his upcoming TV show Satyamev Jayate. He was answering the questions by the media. He said that his show helped him develop an emotional connect with his countrymen and there were quite a few moments during the show that made him cry. It also changed him in a way that he does not reject people who have a point of view that differs with his. He would do that earlier. He feels that the show has enriched him immensely as an individual.

He came up with another interesting bit of personal information while answering a question about the secret of his perfect health while all other Bollywood Khans suffer from multiple ailments from back-pain to neurological disorders. A media person wished to know the address of the ‘aata mill’ Aamir gets his supplies of wheat flour from. A quick-witted Aamir said he does not eat wheat products. He eats ‘raagi’ (millet) instead. What About The Promotions Of ‘Talaash’?

The release of the Aamir Khan starrer TALAASH is around the corner and even though the month of March has begun, the question making rounds of the industry is – ‘Where is Aamir Khan?’.

Known for strategic marketing and promotion, there has been an uneasy silence on his front as far as his newest film is concerned. However as has been just revealed, it isn’t without any reason.

“Don’t worry, all is well,” quips a source, “There is a definite plan already in place. It is anyways going to be an event outing. He isn’t going to release this one just like any other film. Also, one must remember that this is a Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani co-production. The promotion is going to be smart yet effective.”

One really hopes that it happens sooner than later. After all there has been good enough buzz ever since the First Look of the film was revealed a few weeks back. While it has gained quite some visibility on the online forums, there has been calm before the storm, hence leading to speculations about the promotional kick-start. More
