Shah Rukh, the new brand ambassador of Pepsodent toothpaste, had to shoot for its latest ad campaign “Pappu and Pappa” at Filmcity for three days.
Even though Shah Rukh was down with 104 degree (Fahrenheit) fever, he made sure that it did not affect the shooting schedules. The actor made it a point to shoot for the campaign instead of cancelling it, said a source. Shah Rukh has teamed up with child artist Keval and had to give multiple shots till his young co-star got it all right.
Shah Rukh did not complain throughout the long hours of shoot besides the numerous takes he was made to go through, said the source. The ad is about a father-son relationship and on the sets Shah Rukh behaved a perfect dad encouraging Keval at every cut, pepping him if he would get bored. Source
Former lovers of bollywood, Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra were almost locked in to jointly anchor Zara Nach Ke Dikha , a forthcoming dance reality show on television, but things then fell through.
A source said, “Shahid would have been ideal to lead the boy’s team and ditto for Priyanka for the girl’s team. But the plan went awry because Priyanka went on to choose Fear Factor instead and Shahid was in no hurry to make his TV debut.”
Shahid’s spokesperson confirmed, “Shahid will be shooting abroad for his father’s film during those dates, so he had to decline the offer. Source
The scintillating diva Priyanka Chopra, who recently shot for Ashutosh Gowariker’s What’s Your Raashee, said she did more “masti” than work on the sets of the film in Chicago as many of her family members living in the US came to meet and spend time with her.
“It was more masti than work. We chose this time to shoot in Chicago because the script needed snow. And we got it in plenty. I love the snow. And since I’ve a lot of family in America I called them over to Chicago. It was more fun than work really.”
“I love going to America. I’ve my family there. Earlier during ‘Dostana‘ in Philadelphia I had a ball. Now in Chicago many people including my naani, my aunts and cousins would be on the sets to visit me. And luckily there was very little work for me. It was Hurman’s character which is from Chicago.”
Priyanka was glad to have this chance to unwind. “I let Hurman do all the slogging. ‘…Raashee’ is a very taxing film for me. This kind of role has never been done. For the first time in my career I plan to take a two-week holiday after …Raashee.” Source

The reason for this rift is that Kangana feels that the Bhatts are using her personal life as a publicity gimmick to create a curiosity around ‘Raaz –TMC’. The actress’s stand comes in the wake of a recent tabloid report that she and boyfriend Adhyayan spent hours locked inside a vanity van and kept the shooting stalled while the producer, director and the crew waited on the sets. The report was partly corroborated by the Bhatts.
That had upset Kangana. The actress was quoted as saying: “I’m terribly hurt that my personal matters are being used to create hype around the film.”
For those who don’t know yet, Kangana’s affair with Adhyayan started on the sets of ‘Raaz-TMC’, where the two met for the first time. The two were quite inseparable on the movie’s sets. But the report of their being locked in vanity van for hours has upset them both. With the film slated to hit the theatres on January 23, it is being rumoured that Kangana has decided to distance herself from promoting it. However, there is likelihood that she may review her decision because Adhyayan is banking on the good run of ‘Raaz-TMC’ to kick-start his acting career after making a disastrous debut in Haal-e-Dil. ‘Karan Johar didn’t ask me to wear a bikini. But this is a beach movie. So it’s only natural that I get into beachwear. And I don’t mind at all. Because everyone else will be wearing even tinier clothes,’ Priyanka said. ‘I’ve worked with Abhishek and John before. But never like this. Their bonding is infectious. ‘Dostana’ was one big party. It’s a beachside sporty film. And I’m very much a water babe. Adds Priyanka.
Talking about her stint with sci-fi films, she said: ”Love Story 2050′ is my second hi-tech film after ‘Krrish’. And I’m doing one more, ‘Drona’.
