The grape vine was rife with speculation that Sushmita Sen had or rather would be adopting her second child. However, with no confirmation from any front, these pieces of drift news faded into oblivion.

However, last night at the press conference held for her upcoming film Dulha Mil Gaya, Sush confirmed that she has adopted another baby girl on November 19 this year, which also happens to be the actress’ birthday. The doting mother has since christened the 3-month-old girl as Alisha.

With this, Sushmita has definitely put to rest all those prying questions and the rumour mills. Source

The sizzling actress Sushmita Sen got a rare gift from her boyfriend and filmmaker Mudassar Aziz after he gifted the actress a DVD that captures her various moods. The DVD has been shot during the making of the film DULHA MIL GAYA and has been personally edited by the filmmaker.

Sushmita, who celebrated her 34th Birthday last Thursday, was delighted by this special gesture from her boyfriend. It must be recalled that Sushmita and Mudassar got romantically involved during the making of the film DULHA MIL GAYA which is all set to release soon. Sushmita Sen is going to be the first star contestant, while Karisma Kapoor has recently shot for the show. The new show, ‘Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka’ is a reality show that will reveal some stark truths about the past life of some of our favourite stars, through hypnotism.

The producers of the show are leaving no stone unturned and are investing in astronomical amounts to ensure that the show is a success.

Its quite unique to know that in NDTV Imagine’s Raaz Pechle Janam Ka celebrities and others will be hypnotised and sent back to explore their past and perhaps even their previous lives on-air. One of the first volunteers is Bollywood star Sushmita Sen. “Sush will be the first guest on the show as she talks about her pechle janam to Ravi,” says a source for the programme, “The shooting of the same will start on 28 of this month.”

Sushmita hopes to start her own foundation soon. “I’m actually working on a charity organization of my own,” she confirms, “I haven’t started it yet, but I really am looking forward to it. Children are a cause very close to my heart.”

Sush was most recently on screen in David Dhawan’s slightly tired looking Govinda comedy Do Knot Disturb which also starred Lara Dutta and Riteish Deshmukh and her next showing is likely to be with Kangana Ranaut in No Problem. Source

Vikram presented a stunning bridal collection. Women with long braids, swaggering with embellished potli batua hung on their wrists, wearing the prettiest sarees and churidaar kameezs with ornate gold, crystal and silver borders. Male models sporting sherwanis, kurtas and knee-length coats.

Taking surface ornamentation to another level, Vikram’s bridal ensemble for Sushmita was stunning… as was the showstopper flashing her dimpled smile on the ramp. The Miss Universe had guests including Celina Jaitley, Amrita Rao, Sangeeta Bijlani, Jackky Bhagnani, Gul Panag, Ria Sen, Ashish Chowdhary, Shreyas Talpade, Shiamak Dawar and others cheering for her. The sizzling Sushmita Sen’s dormant film career has left her with no option but to simply hope for an award every subsequent year.

“Unfortunately I am not getting any award this time. But I will be back with my other films next time. This time I will just give away the awards,” Sushmita told reporters here.

Our sources reveal, “The film for the first time brings together two former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta. But Sush is not really insecure about her role being shortened as compared to a much younger and hotter Lara. Her worry is that being a more male centric comedy what with three of Bollywood’s finest comic talents Govinda, Ritesh and Sohail coming together for the first time, she will end up getting the shortest screen time compared to the entire main lead cast.

She is trying all the tricks in her book to get a dekko of the film’s rushes to satisfy her doubt. Apparently, David Dhawan is trying his best to convince her that there is nothing she should be worried of but she is still insisting.” Source

Mudassa Aziz and Sushmita Sen made news last year when reports that the director had moved into the actresses’ apartment hit the stands. But it would seem that less than a year down the line, Sush has lost that loving feeling towards Aziz. The duo was first linked together romantically when Sen worked in Aziz’s debut film Dulha Mil Gaya with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. It was even suggested that Aziz had managed to build a wonderful rapport with Sush’s adopted daughter, Renee.

There were numerous mixed reports but the one constant was that Sush wasn’t happy with Aziz for constantly talking about her in interviews. Soon, the star decided to maintain her distance and just remain friends. Adding to Sush’s stress was that Dulha Mil Gaya, which has been on the floors for close to three years now, is still showing no signs of completion. I was keen about it but later I learned the terms and conditions on which Sushmita will inaugurate my art show. I would have to give her two art works, which she selects, and that too absolutely free! I was not willing to do so. I think I am better off inviting a senior artist instead!”
