While most of her contemporaries are married and settled with kids, Sushmita Sen is still in the news for her relationships and break-ups. But the actress says she definitely has plans to tie the knot one day.

“Well, I will get married. It was just that I didn’t feel like getting married at 23-24 which is considered to be marriageable age,” said Sushmita, 34.

“And I am tired of answering what kind of a man I want in my life. I will show you the full sample whenever it happens,” she added.

In the past, the actress has dated actor Randeep Hooda, ad man Manav Menon and then she has been linked with Bunty Sachdev and very recently with Pakistani pacer Wasim Akram, with whom she has supposedly broken off with. More

After adopting two children, former Miss Universe and actor Sushmita Sen now wants to give birth to a child. ‘I will go for biological baby because the clock is ticking for me,’ Sushmita, 34, told reporters Thursday on the sidelines of a preparatory workshop for the 2010 Miss Universe pageant.

Sushmita’s production company Tantra Entertainment was awarded the India franchise to select participants by the Miss Universe Organisation. The Hyderabad-born actress ducked questions about her marriage. ‘I said the clock is ticking… I never said anything about marriage,’ she snapped when reporters asked whether marriage was on the cards.

‘Every girl wants her prince charming. I have stopped thinking about it long back but still I want it,’ said the actress. Sushmita adopted daughter Renee in 2000 and another girl Alisah in January.  Source

The scintillating and sexy Sushmita Sen inaugurated artist Gautam Patole’s charcoal painting exhibition, she disclosed one of her secret talents to him. The actress told him she had been painting for the last three years in various mediums. It was their first meeting.  

The artist surprised Sushmita by gifting her charcoal sketch of her daughter Renee at the exhibition. “It was then that she told me that she had been painting for the last three years in various mediums, including charcoal. In fact, her knowledge is so good that she pointed out a fault in one of my paintings and told me how I could’ve removed it.” He said.  
 
“She also loves nudes as the human body holds a special fascination for her. And being an artist herself, she understands and appreciates art and the feelings of an artist.” Patole added. 
 
“Sushmita knows her art. Though we hadn’t met before the exhibition she knew all about my work. She supports artists and their work as she’s an artist herself. After the exhibition, she sent an email promising to keep in touch.” Artist concluded. Source

It might come as a surprise to uou all but Sushmita Sen and Vivek Oberoi have become friends again. The stunning twosome, who had been sharing cold vibes for long now, have of-late become the best of buddies. And this new found bonhomie has lead tinsel towners to believe that there might be more than just friendship between the two. Going in flashback, one recalls that Sushmita and Vivek were not on talking terms since the time Vivek was dating Aishwarya Rai. The two took special care to avoid each other at social functions and didn`t even exchange pleasantries.

Confirming the news of their new friendship, a source said, “The thaw started only recently when they walked the ramp together for a cancer awareness show. And of late, Sushmita and Vivek have been interacting a lot. The discomfort between them is a thing of the past. In fact, they have become very good friends now”.

Vivek`s official spokesperson said, “Yes, Vivek and Sushmita are friends. While Vivek has pledged his support to Sushmita`s ‘I Am She’ (a project to groom models for the Miss Universe pageant), Sushmita has extended her support to Vivek`s Project Devi (which works for underprivileged girls from Vrindavan).” Source

The grape vine was rife with speculation that Sushmita Sen had or rather would be adopting her second child. However, with no confirmation from any front, these pieces of drift news faded into oblivion.

However, last night at the press conference held for her upcoming film Dulha Mil Gaya, Sush confirmed that she has adopted another baby girl on November 19 this year, which also happens to be the actress’ birthday. The doting mother has since christened the 3-month-old girl as Alisha.

The sizzling actress Sushmita Sen got a rare gift from her boyfriend and filmmaker Mudassar Aziz after he gifted the actress a DVD that captures her various moods. The DVD has been shot during the making of the film DULHA MIL GAYA and has been personally edited by the filmmaker.

Sushmita, who celebrated her 34th Birthday last Thursday, was delighted by this special gesture from her boyfriend. It must be recalled that Sushmita and Mudassar got romantically involved during the making of the film DULHA MIL GAYA which is all set to release soon. The producers of the show are leaving no stone unturned and are investing in astronomical amounts to ensure that the show is a success.

One of the first volunteers is Bollywood star Sushmita Sen. “Sush will be the first guest on the show as she talks about her pechle janam to Ravi,” says a source for the programme, “The shooting of the same will start on 28 of this month.”

Sushmita hopes to start her own foundation soon. “I’m actually working on a charity organization of my own,” she confirms, “I haven’t started it yet, but I really am looking forward to it. Children are a cause very close to my heart.”

Sush was most recently on screen in David Dhawan’s slightly tired looking Govinda comedy Do Knot Disturb which also starred Lara Dutta and Riteish Deshmukh and her next showing is likely to be with Kangana Ranaut in No Problem. Source

With designer Vikram Phadnis and Philips playing hosts on Day 4 of the Lakme Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2010, the designer’s bride was the ravishing Sushmita Sen who walked tall and elegantly.

Vikram presented a stunning bridal collection. Women with long braids, swaggering with embellished potli batua hung on their wrists, wearing the prettiest sarees and churidaar kameezs with ornate gold, crystal and silver borders. Male models sporting sherwanis, kurtas and knee-length coats.

Taking surface ornamentation to another level, Vikram’s bridal ensemble for Sushmita was stunning… as was the showstopper flashing her dimpled smile on the ramp. The Miss Universe had guests including Celina Jaitley, Amrita Rao, Sangeeta Bijlani, Jackky Bhagnani, Gul Panag, Ria Sen, Ashish Chowdhary, Shreyas Talpade, Shiamak Dawar and others cheering for her. The sizzling Sushmita Sen’s dormant film career has left her with no option but to simply hope for an award every subsequent year.

“Unfortunately I am not getting any award this time. But I will be back with my other films next time. This time I will just give away the awards,” Sushmita told reporters here.

Sushmita is here to promote her forthcoming comedy film “Do Knot Disturb”, which also stars Govinda, Riteish and Lara.
