Preity Zinta, who was on the star-studded guest list too, enjoyed the party, but it turned into a bad experience when her car ended up getting damaged due to paparazzi.

“Would have been a perfect evening until the press jumped all over the car n nearly got some1 killed n my car damaged n scratched.. Bachaao! (sic),” she tweeted after coming out of the party.

The damage to her car happened while she was on her way back home from the bash, which was organised by socialite Parmeshwar Godrej in honour of Winfrey, who is on her maiden visit to India. She landed here Monday. More

Dimpled beauty Preity Zinta went gaga over her “Koi Mil Gaya” co-star Hrithik Roshan upon seeing his look in Karan Johar’s “Agneepath” remake.

She posted a message to Johar on Twitter, saying: “KJO! Saw Hrithik’s look in Agneepath & what can I say except its rocking & Drool Drool! All the best 4 this 1 Ting!”

The first look of the movie saw Hrithik wearing a red vest, jeans and a bandana, which reads ‘Govinda Mahautsav’.

He is seen covered in red colour from what seems like a Dahi Handi sequence and is running, with his rippling muscles there for all to see. No wonder Preity’s heart went “hmmmm…”. Source

A few weeks back when Preity had announced her decision to turn producer, there were still a few cynics who doubted whether wheels would indeed move fast enough for ISHQ IN PARIS. Also, since there was no name other than Preity which was announced, there were further speculations around its feasibility.

However, as it has turned out, Preity Zinta would be the only Bollywood personality in this Indo-French film that would have an all international cast and crew contributing to the making.

“Preity hasn’t made much noise around this international film yet as she wants to begin work and then let the world know about the vision she has for her first production. After the likes of Big B, Shahrukh, Karan Johar and a ‘host’ of other Bollywood celebrities, it is now the turn of pretty lady Preity Zinta to make her appearance on the small screen.

The actress has agreed to host UTV’s ‘The Preity Zinta Show’ for its new Bollywood channel UTV Stars, to be produced by Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Idiot Box division.

The show is slated to go on air on August 19. It is rumoured that Abhishek Bachchan would be the first guest.

This is not the first time Preity Zinta is hosting a show on television. Earlier she had anchored Guinness Book of World Records: Ab India Todega on Colors. More

As reported earlier, “Ishq In Paris”, an Indo-French project, is Preity’s first production venture and she plays a half-Indian half-French girl who falls in love in one of the most expensive cities in the world to shoot in.

“From the start, we were very sure that Preity would get her French absolutely right with the correct accent and pronunciation. We did not want to dub her French dialogues. By the time we start shooting, I am dead sure Preity will know as much French as any native and speak the language fluently enough to pass off as a Frenchwoman,” said Prem Soni, the director.

He thinks there’s something distinctly French about Preity’s looks and added: “So many people have commented on how French she looks. I couldn’t have cast anyone else in the role.” More

The actress, who in the recent past has been more often seen on the cricket field than in front of the silver screen, is now ready with her maiden production venture titled Ishkq In Paris. Ishkq In Paris will be directed by Prem Soni who earlier directed the Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer Main Aurr Mrs.Khanna. Interestingly, Preity too was last seen on the big screen in a cameo in Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna. Source

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta seems to have got quite bored with her constant link-up to Australian fast bowler Brett Lee, who now plays for her Indian Premier League team Kings XI Punjab.

The actress, who was earlier dating industrialist Ness Wadia, took to micro-blogging site Twitter to tell her friends and fans that she is just friends with Lee.

“I think being romantically linked to Brett every year is outdated and stale news now! So sorry to say folks NO NEWS here! FRIENDS yeesss (sic),” posted Preity.

The duo was recently spotted together at a restaurant in Mumbai, and according to reports, they chose to exit separately to avoid paparazzi. Lee has expressed on many occasions earlier that Preity is his favourite actress. Source
