The Bong babe Konkona Sen Sharma has confirmed that she has tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Ranvir Shorey at a private ceremony in Mumbai.

They conveyed this to Konkona in polite words and requested her for a re-shoot of all these portions. This would have lead to additional production costs but they were game for it. Konkona Sen Sharma will be seen in a character of a homosexual in Rohan Sippy’s next film, The President is Coming. Konkana’s character, Maya Roy, is a lesbian. The film is in English and directed by debutant Kunaal Roy Kapur, who has also directed the same script as a play earlier.

The source added, “Konkana did not want to be prejudiced and wanted to play the character in her own way. She thought that watching the play before the film’s shooting could affect her spontaneity.” Konkana playing a lesbian was kept under wraps by the filmmakers.
