The sizzling beauty Katrina Kaif may not have won a best actress award but the actress says she is just doing a Salman! So every time she loses an award for the best actress after being nominated for it, she has got Salman Khan as an inspiration.

At a pre-event press conference of the Filmfare Awards, Katrina says, “Salman Khan has taught me to work for 20 years, give hits but don’t ever win an award.” 
 
Katrina Kaif, who has bagged a nomination at the upcoming 55th Filmfare Awards in best actor category for her role in New York, says that there is a new category for the people who never win awards and that’s going to be she and Salman Khan.

Says she, “”Nominations don’t excite me now. I have been nominated earlier but I haven’t won any award yet.” She continues, “I am very much used to not winning awards after being nominated. Now I don’t feel excited or thrilled when I come to know about my nominations.” She says that she is happy with the nomination and won’t mind if someone else wins the trophy. Source

Sexiest of the lot, Katrina Kaif who is said to have charged 50 Lac for 20 minutes almost met with a wardrobe malfunction at a high profile sangeet party of Radhika Singhal and Saurabh Dhoot (Industrialist) at a bungalow on Amrita Shergill Marg. Katrina was in the Capital on Wednesday to receive an achievement award.

A reliable source reveals, “Things went kaput when Katrina almost met with a wardrobe malfunction. The star pocketed Rs. 50 Lakhs for her 20-minute performance. The star was so engrossed that she didn’t realize that her choli had malfunctioned exposing her lower torso. The front bencher guests managed to grab some of Kats stills on their cameras.

“Kat’s enthusiastic and sexy dance routine with Saurabh went down well with the crowd, including Radhika, who happily surrendered her partner at Kat’s request,” source adds. Salman Khan, who appeared on Zee TV’s dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance 2, told the show’s grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty: ‘Dada, the press guys are hell-bent on making me accept that Zarine (’Veer’) looks like Katrina… and I’m tired of telling them she is not even close to her.’

‘Nobody knows Katrina better than me and I’m telling you guys, Zarine does not look like Katrina,’ he added.

Salman thoroughly enjoyed his stay on the sets, said a source. When the actor saw the male participants lifting the girls high up in the air during their act, he joked: ‘Guys, now this is something I just cannot do! I may lift really heavy weights, bench press more than most men do but I can never lift a woman that high up in the air.’

Katrina Kaif who was recently reported to be out of work after her yet to be released ‘Rajneeti’, has caught the fancy of maverick filmmakers Abbas-Mustan. But sadly Kat will have to share the limelight with yet another screen-scorcher Priyanka Chopra. As per reports, the film will have two female leads along with couple of dishy hunks that include Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Akshaye Khanna and Kunal Kapoor.

Talking about the film screenplay writer Rohit Jugraj said, “Though the producers and Abbas Mustan have bought the remake rights, we’ve changed the Hindi version of ‘The Italian Job’ considerably. For one, the stakes for the heist are much higher. The situations, fights and adventures are all different - and so are the characters.”

However, sources state that the two divas are very much a part of the project. Confirming a news daily the filmmaker duo said, “There are a lot of changes in the script. But in spirit our ‘The Italian Job’ will remain the same. So far, we’ve not locked in the entire cast. But we’re definitely in serious talks with all the names (Katrina, Priyanka) you’ve mentioned. It’s a very big project and we need to get the biggest names in place before we start.” Source

It was formerly believed that she’s suffering from Jaundice and low heamoglobin count but now it is known that the pretty woman is suffering from endometrioma - a condition where a tiny patch of endometrial tissue bleeds, sloughs off, becomes transplanted, grows and enlarges inside the ovaries. Fortunately, the actress has been diagnosed early and she’s out of the hospital in a day.

Katrina was admitted to a South Mumbai hospital and was operated on Wednesday morning. A source revealed Katrina had an operation on Wednesday morning and the surgery went on for an hour. It is a one-time surgery and there are no after-effects. She is fine now and has been advised rest for two days.

Katrina Kaif’s official spokesperson said that Katrina has just been discharged from Breach Candy Hospital and is completely fine now. Because of her system’s low hemoglobin level, she had to undergo a small surgical procedure. It’s done with now and she’s resting at home, after which she will take off for her annual Christmas break. According to sources, Salman Khan’s mother was Kat’s constant companion in this ordeal. Its a bad news that the decrease in Katrina Kaif’s hemoglobin count continues to plummet, Katrina’s health is causing distress to all those who know her. On Sunday she was again at a suburban hospital to take further tests as her haemoglobin count continued to fall, despite treatment from the best doctors in the city.

On Sunday Katrina woke up unable to get out of bed.  The  worst  blow to her  frail energy level  was  the hectic  wedding of  Salman Khan’s close family-friend Krishan Narayan’s  daughter which Katrina attended for two consecutive nights on Friday and Saturday for the sangeet  and wedding.

A friend explained, “It was a commitment she couldn’t wriggle out of. The bride’s father, an associate of politician Praful Patel, is a very close friend of Salman Khan. And Katrina who has always looked at Salman’s friends as her own, had to be there.” More
