Ever since she stepped into the sizzling shoes of actress Mallika Sherawat for the sequel of the film Murder 2, actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been causing a lot of buzz as she’s better known for her demure, good girl image.

But the Sri Lankan beauty is far from being nervous or apprehensive about being compared to Sherawat’s sensual act. “It’s absolutely okay if comparisons are made. Besides, it’s natural to be compared to Mallika because she did the film Murder, and I’m doing the sequel. I have never met Mallika and I don’t know her personally, but from what I’ve seen of her, I think she is a good actress.”

Fernandez is also unfazed by the fact that the film will have a lot of skin-show and intimate scenes. “I have been a model and done many photo-shoots and shows so I am the most comfortable with my body. Plus as actors, these scenes are always a part of a story. There are 50 -100 crew members when we shoot these scenes, so it’s all work and no play!” More

Working together in director Pradeep Sarkar’s forthcoming film ‘Lafange Parindey’, actress Deepika Padukone has found a friend for life in Neil Nitin Mukesh. Neil once went out of his way to do her make-up personally, which was somewhat different, required for an accident scene.

‘I think I have made a friend for life and I think that’s what I cherished the most because he is a wonderful human being and that comes across on screen. We got along really well,’ said Deepika.

‘There is an accident scene, where I need a different kind of make-up and he is trained in it so he told dada (Pradeep Sarkar) that he will do my make-up and he did. Another day where I was doing…not exactly an action sequence, but lot of cable work and all of that, he choreographed the entire act. So I think in every way he was there for me,’ Deepika told IANS in an interview.

Set in the mean streets of Mumbai, ‘Lafangey Parindey’ is a love story where Neil Nitin Mukesh plays the character of Nandu, a fighter who pummels his opponents in the ring and Deepika Padukone plays Pinky Palkar, a dancer who is blind but ambitious and dances with roller skates on her feet. More

It does come in handy for her and while her friends on Earth, most notably Riteish Deshmukh, are quite baffled by how she makes it possible, it is this nice little trick that she has up her sleeves that makes it really work for her”, explains Milap.
