Working in Bollywood is a demanding job, says Hema Malini adding that this is the reason why she was not very keen on her daughter Esha Deol joining filmdom as an actress.

“It is difficult to survive in the industry. You have to go through so much in this career. You have to be successful, but if your movies don’t work you are sad and then there comes a burden to do much better. You have to keep working harder and harder, emotionally it disturbs a lot,” said Hema.

“In other professions, it is not noticeable. Here you are immediately in the eyes of people that’s why I was not very keen. I wanted her to do something else, something like interior designing, or be a dancer, but she wanted to act and everyone should be given an opportunity. She is indeed a very fine actress,” she added.

Hema re-launched Esha with her directorial venture “Tell Me O Kkhuda” but the film could not put a lasting impression on the audiences. Source

There’s a rumour doing the rounds that Esha Deol will be a part of Yash Chopra’s next directorial venture which stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

Apparently, Yash Chopra decided on Esha after he saw her in Tell Me O Kkhuda.

Yash Chopra has a long-standing bonding with Hema Malini. She was part of his film Trishul and then again in Veer-Zaara. Esha got a major break in Yash Raj’s Dhoom.

When contacted, Esha’s mother Hema Malini said, “Yashji did see Tell Me O Kkhuda and really liked Esha’s performance. He was kind enough to call up and say how much he liked the film and Esha.”

While reliable sources insist that Esha is a part of Chopra’s next directorial venture, Yash Raj’s official spokesperson denied it. Source

That Salman Khan agreed to do a cameo for Hema Malini’s TELL ME O KKHUDA is a known fact. What has just been revealed though is that cameo would be in a special song opposite Esha Deol and is supposed to be a major highlight in the film’s narrative.

“Yes, Salman’s cameo in for a specially designed song in the film. It was very kind of him to be a part of this song and that too at such a short notice,” says a source attached to the film.

The story goes that this impromptu decision was taken by the makers when they were recently shooting for the song in Mumbai. Super actor Salman Khan has agreed to be a part of Hema Malini’s directorial venture “Tell Me O Khuda”.

“Salman Khan has been very gracious to be a part of my film ‘Tell Me O Khuda’. What an adorable person!!!!” the veteran actress said the star in her post on Twitter.

The younger dreamgirl Esha Deol is being relaunched in Bollywood by her mother, veteran actress Hema Malini.

Apart from producing the film, Hema will also star in it – portraying the role of Esha’s mother. Now that is not the only big news about this flick. Apparently, father Dharmendra is to enact as husband of Hema and father of Esha. This would be the first time that all three have starred together in a film. Hema and Dharmendra have previously made 42 films, with the last being Aas Paas in 1981.

The film, titled Tell Me Oh Khuda, will see Esha’s character on the search of her biological father – whom could be one of four men.
