Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will apparently romance together in an Indo-English film, which would be directed by Homi Adajania and Produced by Dinesh Vijan.Dinesh Vijan’s latest flick Go Goa Gone is carrying good reports, and news is that he has already started working on his next. Not just surpassing but also shocking everyone’s expectations of his next to be a Hindi flick, Dinesh has decided to make an English film titled Finding Fanny.

Critically acclaimed director Homi is already known for his highly praised Indo-English film ‘Being Cyrus’ that starred Saif Ali Khan in it. Recently he also gave a super-hit film ‘Cocktail’ last year that again starred Saif, along with Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. Moreover, the film was also produced by Jr. Pataudi and his dear friend Dinesh Vijan. While Deepika and Arjun will share the screen space for the first time together, buzz is that Finding Fanny is based on a road trip, and its major portion will be shot in Goa.

Deepika Padukone has shed her urban look for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Ram Leela and designer Anju Modi, who has dressed the actress in the movie, says it was a dream come true to work with her.

“Sanjay and I were very clear about the look we wanted to give Deepika. So, while the lehengas had to reflect the royal lineage of the Kutch region, they also had to have a very contemporary feel as Ram Leela is not a period drama,” Anju said.

Filmmaker Karan Malhotra, who is gearing up for his second film Shuddhi, says the leading lady for the film is not yet finalised. However, there were reports that Kareena Kapoor has been roped in for the project opposite Hrithik Roshan.

Race 2 was Considered to be one of the most awaited sequels of 2013 after the Super Success of Race . While the starcast got changed from Race , the Movie hasn’t changed much either with respect to the script . Race 2 starts off from where RACE concluded. Ranveer [Saif Ali Khan] decides to avenge the death of his fiancée Sonia [Bipasha Basu] and for that he travels to Turkey, where he encounters some new people in this journey [John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ameesha Patel], besides some people he had encountered earlier [Anil Kapoor].

Ranveer Singh (Saif Ali Khan) is the slick con artist, a continuation of his character from the original film. Race 2 is a new chapter of thrills and chills in his exciting life that we, the audience are a part of. His agenda, his enemies are unknown in the first few reels of the film, and reveal themselves to us through the celluloid ride. RD (Anil Kapoor) also reprises his blooming buffoon character from the original, but whoever was writing the dialogues for him was on another planet, separate from the cool edge of Race 2.

The double entendres in all his lines, in his fruit chomping avatar, are embarrassing and not funny at all. He’s eating a new fruit in every scene, almost like he’s endorsing fruits for a living, and utters lines like “I am not ready to pop your cherry” and such throughout. And Cherry (Ameesha Patel) who plays his bimbo assistant is simply ridiculous in her enactment of naiveté or whatever it is she is trying to do. Anil of course being a stellar actor, looks believable in the part, but is completely bereft of his stature as an international star in this role, a waste of his talent in my opinion.

With double pack of action, thrill, suspense and romance, the sequel of Race is a sheer extravagancy of stars like Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Ameesha Patel and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film, which is set to hit the theatres on 25 January, is making its actor to put their extra foot in marketing and promoting film nationally and internationally.

According to source the entire team of Race 2 is marching forward to launch Race 2 in Dubai along with producers Jaykumar Parsram and Varsha Ramesh, directors Gulam Abbas Alibhoy and Mustansir Alibhoy. “All the team members of Race 2 will share the stage with the stars and interact with the audience in Dubai”, added source.

Leggy lass of the town Deepika Padukone is celebrating her birthday in a quiet manner today i.e. January 5, 2013. She is going to be with her parents and her sister Aneesha, who will fly down from Bangalore to Mumbai for the day.
