Earlier we had reported that Ash has had to delay pregnancy plans because of her ailment, but the Bachchans have rubbished reports that Aishwarya Rai is under treatment for stomach tuberculosis.

“I am completely shocked, appalled and extremely upset with the contents of the article. It is fabricated and false,” Aishwarya said in a letter to the paper. On Twitter, Abhishek Bachchan said the media had crossed a line this time.

“You want to write and malign me or my father, I will take it. But the ladies of my home are off limits! They’ve gone too far this time….. I have never reacted to all the fabricated stories written by the media about me and my own. BUT THIS IS THE LIMIT!!!”

“As a husband and a man I’m shocked that one can talk so irresponsibly about a woman, that too…falsely!! On a personal note, as a husband I will not stand for such rubbish being written about my wife,” Abhishek wrote on his Twitter handle @juniorbachchan. More

According to our trusted sources, the main reason why Aishwarya Rai Bachchan cannot conceive is because of the fact that the Bachchan bahu is suffering from stomach tuberculosis for a while.

It is a well known fact that the Bachchans are keenly looking forward to their heir apparent for the family but Ash’s bad health has dampened the plans for some time.

Aishwarya, who is running in her 37th year is waiting for her good health to come back before she plans a family. On the other hand, the official stand on Bachchans regarding Ash’s pregnancy is “when-it-happens-it will happen”.

Shah Rukh and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are all set to mend their professional relationship. According to the latest Bollywood news, SRK approached the light-eyed beauty to play a cameo in his upcoming flick ‘RA 1′ at a recent social event. Talking to a news daily, a close source said, “At a social get-together recently, Shah Rukh and Gauri were seen in the company of Abhi-Ash. Both the couples were bonding and had a long chat about movies and forthcoming projects. It was at this moment that Shah Rukh spoke about ‘RA 1.’”

“Shah Rukh mentioned a scene to Aishwarya where she has to play herself in the film. It is a cameo. The scene is yet to be scripted, but so far it is about a character in the film who is Ash’s biggest fan and actually gets to meet her. Abhishek, who was listening, encouraged Ash to do it. It was a general conversation that night but one hopes it materialises. It would be great to see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in a Shah Rukh starrer,” added the source.

Recently while shooting for her film ENDHIRAN opposite Rajnikant, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had to go through some tough time. Buzz, is that the former beauty queen was shooting at a location that was not motorable and thus her vanity van had to be parked at a distance. This meant that even the basic amenities were not available for the top actress.

So, when things became really difficult, the crew members chalked out some contingency pans. This meant that for basic requirement like the use of a loo to relieve oneself, open spaces were demarcated. The shrubbery had to be put to optimal use for the privacy of the actress.

In this small world Aishwarya Rai has had two encounters with as many ex beaus in a span of few days. As reported earlier, she found herself face to face with Salman Khan while shooting at a Mumbai studio. Now, on Saturday, she was seated just an arm’s distance away from Vivek Oberoi at a Mumbai police event named ‘Jashn 2010-Dhamaka Bollywood Ka’.

Ash was seated in the first row at the function. Shockingly, the organizers had placed Vivek’s seat very close to Ash. There was only one seat between the two. Vivek was obviously hesitant to sit there, but relented after persuasion by the organizers. On top of it, Manish Malhotra, who was supposed to be seated between Ash and Vivek wasn’t on his seat. So when Vivek took his seat, there was an evident discomfort between Ash and him.

We hear that Ash even looked at Vivek for a split second. Vivek too turned and looked at her. Both of them were uncomfortable. But the drama didn’t last long. Manish Malhotra, who had perhaps sensed their discomfort, rushed back to his seat. Vivek still wasn’t comfortable, after a few minutes he left his seat. Source

When Salman Khan and Aishwarya crossed each other’s paths at Mehboob Studios where Aishwarya was busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish and Salman Khan was shooting for a promo for his next release, Veer, Salman emerged from his car and was talking on the phone with a smile on his face.

Soon, his smile turned into a frown as at the same time, Aishwarya stepped out and was walking towards her van. Both froze. Our source, who was present at the studio, insists that they did look into each other’s eyes for a moment and immediately looked the other way. Aishwarya entered her van immediately, so our source couldn’t gauge her reaction.

But the source did catch Salman’s discomfort. The source insists that after the incident, Khan was not too keen on shooting but couldn’t bail out of the shoot. “Though he walked in talking on the phone with a smile, after coming face-to-face with Aishwarya he didn’t utter a single word, except when he was facing the camera,” the source concludes. Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan will be playing the role of an old lady in a few scenes in Vipul Shah’s upcoming release, Action Replay. The film is said to be a remake of the Hollywood hit, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. The Bollywood version will star Akshay Kumar and Randhir Kapoor.

Well-known Hollywood make-up artist, Paul Pattison has been hard at work to give Ash a full makeover. He is known for styling Mel Gibson for Braveheart and Tom Cruise for Mission Impossible. Director, Vipul Shah says that Ash has to spend about 4-6 hours day for the make-up to be applied perfectly. “She was extremely co-operative. It’s a look people have never seen her in before.” he says.

The film has music composed by Pritam and is expected to be a family entertainer and not an action flick as the title implies. Source

“Everybody has been asking me if Abhishek will be a good paa (father) in connection with the release of our forthcoming production Paa. I think it’s silly for me to be even making the statement. It’s given - I married the man. So obviously I have the conviction in the husband he is or the father he will be,” said Aishwarya.

It is believed that the flick is all set to get rolling. Javed Khan, who is a lesser known filmmaker will himself produce and act in the film and is extremely confident that the film will attract a lot of audience as it is an emotional story depicting the one-time love between Salman and Ash.
