Shahid Kapoor In Kaminey 2

Shahid Kapoor is in the mood of becoming the baddie again. Perhaps this is the reason why the actor has been persisting with his demand of doing KAMINEY 2.

According to sources, these days Shahid is seen frequenting the office of Vishal Bharadwaj. The actor wants Vishal to hurry up on the sequel of KAMINEY as he feels the film has achieved a different status and the audiences would love to have the sequel in place.

Though, Vishal on his part is also keen on working with Shahid on the sequel, but currently he is caught up with his next release SAAT KHOON MAAF.

Well, looks like Shahid cannot wait to work with Vishal again. Source

Sonam Kapoor Refuses To Kiss Shahid

The stunning actress Sonam Kapoor is not someone who’ll take the ‘kiss-route’ to stardom even if asked to lock lips with the Bollywood hunk Shahid Kappor. Buzz has it that the lass flatly refused to kiss Shahid for a scene in ‘Mausam’ at the last minute during the Scotland schedule, making things complex for the film’s director and Shahid’s dad Pankaj Kapoor.

It took her completely by surprise when she was asked to do a liplock with Shahid, as there had been no talk of any kissing scene when she signed the film. Sonam was never informed of any smooching act to be done with her ‘Mausam’ co-star while she was being narrated the script.

Speaking to a news daily, a source from the unit said, “Sonam was taken aback when the director (and co-star Shahid`s dad Pankaj) told her about it. She flatly refused.”

It was reported that the situation went really out of hand and a high drama was created on the sets with Pankaj frantically calling Sonam`s dad Anil in desperation to save the situation. But, Sonam looked in no mood to budge off her stand.

Interestingly, the source further added, “It was at Shahid`s behest that a kissing scene was created. He put forth the idea to his father who complied with his request. Shahid feels that like Aamir Khan he, too, should kiss all his heroines. He felt it would add more passion to the scene.” More

Shahid Kapoor Patches Up With His Mother

According to our trusted sources Shahid Kapoor might do a cameo in her mother’s director debut ‘Nawab Nautanki’, now we see that ‘Kaizer’ – Shahid’s pet dog is making the way for it to happen. The maa beta has hugged kissed and got reunited without paying tribute to Ekta kapoor and her ultra dramatic moments in her serials.

Shahid had finally patched up with her mother Neelima Azim, the overjoyed mother is even babysitting Shahid’s pet dog Kaizer for the last fifteen days. Before leaving for Scotland for the outdoor shoot of ‘Mausam’, Shahid left his pet dog in the care of his mother.

Neelima was so particular about Kaizer that even though when she was out of town, she made sure that her family members take proper care of ‘Kaizer’.

Shahid Kapoor Plays An Air Force Officer In ‘Mausam’

Shahid Kapoor is getting ready to start shooting his next film, Mausam after the super success of Badmaash Company. The film is the directorial debut of his father and well-known actor Pankaj Kapoor and starring opposite Shahid is Sonam Kapoor. Not a lot is known about the story of the film, only that it is a love story and that Shahid plays an air force officer.

About his role in the film Shahid has said, “The script is such that as an actor, I have to dedicate all my time and presence to it. It’s more to do with the subject and the character than anything else and you’ll see it for yourself once the film releases.”

Badmaash Company - An Average At The Box Office

Karan (Shahid Kapoor) is clear that he doesn’t want to spend his life as a worker drone like his dad. Karan dreams of getting rich quick. He starts out as a carrier for a small-time smuggler and eventually moves his way up to bigger con jobs and bigger bucks. Three friends Bulbul (Anushka), Zing (Meiyang Chang) and Chandu (Vir Das) join him on this stratospheric journey, which ends in self-destructive decadence, avarice, fighting, break-up, regret and various life lessons learnt with most important one being honesty is the best policy.

While the first half still holds together (despite boring and slowly shot con jobs) because of the bonding between the four friends. Problems crop up majorly in the second half which makes the movie a complete downer. What makes it more unexciting is the fact that after moving to Manhattan the characters attempt to repeat the exact same scheme that they had done in India making it all a predictably tedious watch. Karan’s legal but totally outlandish scheme involving a line of defective shirts called the Bleeding Madras appears completely foolish.

Actor turned director Parmeet Sethi of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge fame could have come up with a better script. Thought at heart it appears well intended, it offers nothing new apart from a few oft repeated moral lessons. The casino shot sequences remind you of Kevin Spacey starrer 21. More

Shahid Kapoor Doing Con Jobs In “Badmaash Company” !

Recently Shahid Kapoor was found doing con jobs in Vishal Bhardwaj’s hit “Kaminey”? The actor does the same, but in a more sophisticated avatar, in “Badmaash Company” releasing Friday. Produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films, the movie is actor Parmeet Sethi’s directorial debut. Shahid has teamed up with Anushka Sharma in the film that also stars comedian Vir Das and reality show star Chang.

Describing the film, Shahid said: “There are very interesting characters, extremely fresh dialogues, con jobs which I have not seen in any other film, but yet very easy to understand. It’s not complicated at all. It’s a very fun film and there was no reason why I shouldn’t be doing it.”

Set in the Bombay of 1990s, “Badmaash Company” is about four youngsters who come together to start a business. What makes their venture a stupendous success is that they find a way to beat the system and soon become the undisputed kings in their business. Living the life of champagne wishes and caviar dreams, the four realise that to make a business successful they don’t need big money but a big idea.

With their larger than life schemes, Karan, Bulbul, Zing and Chandu go on a wild roller-coaster ride into the world of sheer glitz and glamour where the stakes are high and risks even higher. They succeed in making quick money by doing all the wrong things… but the right way. More

Shahid Kapoor’s Paathshala Fails At The Box Office

Paathshaala merely touches the tip of the iceberg. It attempts to answer questions related to the sanctity of today’s education system. It sheds light on the shortcomings in today’s schools and how morals and ethics associated with the teaching profession seem to have taken a complete backseat. Let’s not compare it with Taare Zameen Par or 3 Idiots, although a few sequences, in these two trend-setting films, threw light on the pressures on students.

Paathshaala, penned by Ahmed Khan and directed by Milind Ukey, is well-intentioned. It has a lot to say, but the predicament is, what translates on celluloid is not razor-sharp. Of course, there are few defining moments in the movie, which do make you ponder on the plight of the educational system. But there are also portions - when the media steps in to boost the brand of the school - that are mumbo-jumbo.

On the brighter side, the acting is distinguished. Nana underplays beautifully, Ayesha adds to the sunshine moments, but it’s Shahid who pitches in a commendable and convincing act. More

Shahid Kapoor Is Still Crazy To Work With Kareena Again

Recently, we caught sight of a bearded Shahid — it’s hard not to! — while he was out doing promotional work for his upcoming films, Paathshaala which releases this Friday and Badmaash Company. The reason for the bearded look, we found out, is for his father Pankaj Kapoor’s next film, Mausam, in which he plays an air force pilot.

Nithya Ramani quizzed Shahid about his many looks, his childhood crushes and how he became independent at a young age. Excerpts:
We couldn’t recognise you in this new look. Is this for Mausam?

I’ll take that as a compliment [smiles]. Yes, it is for Mausam.

When I was promoting Jab We Met, I was in my Kismet Konnection look –with long hair. When I was promoting Kismet, I was in my Kaminey look. And while promoting Kaminey I was in my Badmaash Company look. Now I’m promoting Paathshala in my Mausam look.

It is quite weird the way I keep changing my looks for every film. My stylist has put a lock on her salon, and won’t let me in. My films have exhausted her of all ideas! [Laughs] Source

Shahid Kapoor & Shraddha Kapoor - Exchanging Vibes

The news is that Shraddha Kapoor, daughter of screen baddie Shakti Kapoor, apparently went to the audition of Pankaj Kapur’s Mausam.

And now it is being insinuated that though she didn’t get the film (Sonam Kapoor has been signed for it), the leading man of Mausam has taken a keen interest in the newbie.

Shraddha, a very attractive young girl, was first seen in Teen Patti… and there were rumours earlier linking her to Pratik.

However, her mother Shivangi categorically denied these rumours. Now we hear that Shahid Kapoor is coaching Shraddha. And these two are also good friends. A round of denials will follow. But for the moment the industry is abuzz with talk of this new found friendship. Source
